Q: Hi Peter
Could i have your opinion on Web Tech Wireless please.I have been patient with this stock ever since they purchased Grey Island systems.I didn't sell because last quarter revenue and their subscriber base was up a little albeit marginally.
Q: Peter, what's the story on Guardian Capital (GCG)? The market cap is almost entirely made up of the BMP shares? Is it a good company and a buy? Also, what do you know about Olympia (OLY)? Thanks!
Q: Fortress Paper (FTP) really popped on postive news from its European operations a few weeks back. Now drifted to below the pre-pop. Thought I missed the party but now am suspicious of becoming a member! What do you think?
Q: Peter and team. I would be curious of your thoughts/comments on SIL given your previous employer. Do you think this a "safe" way to play a potential recovery in the beaten down jr resource sector? i.e. make a good cash flow while we wait and get the potential upside through the warrants they get on their deals. How do you value something like SIL i.e. what metrics to use? Thanks, appreciate any insights you have!
they reported to-day touting "strong Q2 results" and raised the quarterly dividend (which sounds great) but their 6 monthly net income per common share has fallen by 6 cents (due to share dilution from equity financing) which doesn't sound so great..
overall doesn't light a fire in the belly - is this one a "hold" rather than a buy based on these results?
Q: hi Peter, I am wondering if you might have some JR. resource stocks that have been beaten down that our solid and could have lots of upside on your radar. I appreciate your continued help with sorting out these various companies for us members.
Q: CNE seems to go from around .44 to over a dollar and back again on a regular basis. Would this be a good time to get in and then out hopefully at $1? Thanks Peter.
why would managment raise the dividend in the face of a disappointing quarter (a reduction in adjusted earnings per share) if they did not forsee a near-term rising earnings profile?
Daniel Drimmer was part of a group that took transglobe apartment reit public, then lead a group to privatize those same properties. A few months later, again, Mr. Drimmer is now taking some apartment properties in Montreal public (TN.UN).
First off, can you offer any insights as to why Mr. Drimmer would go public with a set of properties (tga.un); then privatize them a few years later; then take another group of properties public (tn.un)?
And secondly, what are your thoughs on True North Apartment Reit?
Q: Can you please comment on SIR.UN. In particular, what do you think of their payout sustainability and debt levels. Would you recommend it at current prices? Will they be required to convert to a corp at some point? Thanks for your help.
