Q: I was wondering if you would help me understand the developments with OSK. I have two questions. What is the OSK Gold Royalties LTD? I own 100 shares. How do you sell uneven amounts of a stock? eg. I now own 72 shares of AEM and 264 shares of YRI.
Thank you for your help.

Q: Hello Peter, this is a follow up to my previous question regarding positions in daughter RESP, where you advised no "need" of both ENB and TRP and 1 can go. Which one should be kept, looking at next 4-5 years time frame. Or you recommend any other in lieu of these 2.
Q: Trading in ACQ is halted...I am guessing as the result of the huge financing deal just announced. Any thoughts on how this will affect share price. The deal at $78 is $5 less than today's price.

Q: If putting money into a Bond ETF which two would you recommend with good liquidity for the following?
1)Rising interest rates?
2)Falling interest rates?
3)No change in interest rates?
Is one better off buying their own laddered bonds and holding to maturity than using ETFs?
Thanks

Q: AutoCanada (ACQ) has not done much recently. Is there a problem, or is it just a matter of being patient ? Sold some Amaya (AYA) recently to buy ACQ. Since then, AYA goes up, and ACQ down.
Q: I have a very small position in CEU, PEY, HWO and BDI but was thinking of increasing my position in two of these to 4-5%. Which would you consider would give the best overall return over the next 1yr or would you rather go with something else ?
I was sorry to hear you had a bad bike accident. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

It includes a 5 Yr. EPS Growth rate.
Could you also include a 5 Yr. Dividend Growth Rate which is most important to Dividend investors?
Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter
DOL has fallen below $90 in the last week. Do you still like the stock, and would this be a good entry point?

Q: I own NBD-T and BRP-N and am down 12% and 22% respectively. On the plus side they are each only about a 1% weighting in my portfolio. They continue to trend down and yet the housing data in the US (which I assume is driving them) doesn't seem to be that bad and in fact improving albeit at a slow pace. What would make them go up and should I continue to hold or get out and get something else? I have nothing else in the real estate sector. Great service.
Q: My portfolio is lacking exposure to insurance cos., aside from a position in US Financial ETF (XLF) whose biggest holding is BRK.B. Which insurance co. would you recommend and why? GWO, SLF, MFC, FFH?
Q: I have $106,000 cash in a registered education savings plan. The money is to be paid out within a year. What is your recommendation for getting some return on the cash position?
Q: So i am going to ask a question on avigilon a different way than john did, if you did a growth portfolio today would you include avo. Dave
Q: There are two pieces of advice that perplex me about investing and I'm not sure which ones to follow:
1. "you need to take profits" vs "you need to let your winners run"
2. "You should be raising cash to take advantage of an inevitable correction" vs "You can't time the market so you should stay fully invested at all times"
I suppose point 1 and 2 are almost the same thing...
All of these strategies make sense to me, but a choice has to be made right? In your experience which ones have you found more successful in the long run?
Thanks so much for all your help.
cheers
