Q: Hi folks:
Having a problem with what could happen between the prices of crude, gold, and the US dollar. During the 2008/09 "correction" the price of gold went down as money went into the US dollar. This past while we have the US dollar going up as the price of crude is going down. If we have another correction in the near future and gold goes down again and the price of crude stays around $50, will we see the US dollar go much higher as a result of this double whammy?
If yes, what is the best way to play the US dollar for Canadians?
