Q: CWT.UN? My wife owns in her RRSP the conv. debenture-pd par-one more yr. left. She got a call from CIBC to ask her to convert to shares @$25.50 eac. Deb. pays 6.65% per yr. Q: No question, just a quick update to cal's question regarding preferred shares. prefinfo.com is an excellent resource for those of us without 24/7 access to a bloomberg terminal. It covers call/retraction dates, cumulative/non-cumulative dividends, fixed to float rates, etc.
As a side note Peter, have you considered adding a links section to the site? It could be very useful to have "approved" links on a sidebar, things like sedi, sedar, prefinfo and the like, which are quite reliable sources of information for retail investors.
