Q: Hello,
Could you please comment on GXI. It reported yesterday and the market is responding negatively today. I own a small position and was thinking about adding more for a long term hold.

Q: Hi Peter and 5iResearch Team,
Can you please provide your advice regarding Stuart Olsen, SOX, a construction and consulting business with a dividend of 4.9%. In April 2011 it closed above $20. Today its trading at $9.75. Do you like this industry at all, and if so, is this a good quality value investment today. It was recommended on BNN this am. Thank you. Linda

Q: At the suggestion of an acquaintance, we have held for a year now, HPR (Horizons Active Preferred Share ETF); HYI (HA High Yield Bond ETF) and XSB (iShares Canadian Short Term Bond). I know next to nothing about bonds and preferred shares. All I know is that they are all in the red! I am holding approx. 25K in each fund. We are close to retiring in the next two to three years. My question is, should we continue to hold them, or find something else? If the latter, your invaluable advice would be greatly appreciated.

Q: Hello Peter and 5i Team,
I have a question regarding Carfinco Financial. I bought CFN in early Dec (around $11) after you reiterated B+ rating in your Nov report. Then I noticed in Feb that you downgraded it to B from B+. At that time the price was $11.50. Today, it is trading below $8.50 - what are your thoughts on this stock? It had almost 30% drop since your last report... is anything wrong with the company? Do you suggest keeping it in the portfolio or selling at loss? (CFN holding is about 1% of my portfolio). -Thanks

Q: thanks for the great service...my question is about prc-v and its large fall from grace today do you see anything that would have made this happen...I talked to the ceo and he felt that it was profit taking after the rights transfer on shares...do you believe he is right on this and do you feel this is a good company for long term holding...cheers

I purchased FSZ in November 2013, and am down close to 16%. What is causing this decline and do you expect it to continue? Do you still feel comfortable with your B+ rating? How risky do you consider the stock?
I saw from a recent question you don't consider it a "sell" at this level. Do you consider this a good time to add to a small position?

Q: I'm curious as to the potential impact in Canada of Kinder Morgan consolidating into a huge energy company partly in order to better pursue acquisitions. According to Mr. Kinder: “I think virtually anything in the midstream energy area would fit us”. This may be U.S. focused but I am wondering if this potentially increases future Canadian midstream infrastructure consolidation. Names like Keyera, Altagas, Pembina, Veresen , InterPipe come to mind. Is this plausible?
