Q: Peter and staff, My question is on Cominar. It cotinues to be not well liked by the market. Many of the other reits have stopped going down or are recovering somewhat. I thought that Cominar was a very good stable reit. I must be missiing something. Can you please tell me what it is? Is there something different about Cominar from the other high quality reits? The best of the season to all of you, Thanks, Ken

Q: Is a 12% portfolio weighting in BNS too large? I do not hold any other financial stocks. Should I be trimming and buying something else in the financial sector? Thanks and Happy Holidays.

Q: Thanks to your reviews I bought XTC Exco a while back and have done very well with it. Its recent announcement has given a nice bounce to the stock today and I wonder if its getting ahead of itself.
Its now 6% of my portfolio and its been my policy to start to trim back although with this one I'm considering letting it run up and trim back at 8%. My time horizon is 5 years plus.
Would appreciate your thoughts and do you see any change in your current rating.
Many thanks
John

Q: Hi Peter,
Please give me your opinion of Colabor (GCL). It pays a 5% dividend and is a food distributor in eastern Canada. I thought this investment would be very safe with some slight growth but so far "this dog don't hunt". Thanks.

Q: Hi Team. I am heavy into REITS, oil producers and pipelines. I want to take about 1/4 - 1/3 of my portfolio and diversify into about 4 stocks in other sectors that have good potential for growth in the next 2 or so years, and preferably (but not absolutely) have some dividend. Can you suggest 4-6 stocks from your model portfolio, or stocks that you would consider healthy enough to be on your model, that I could consider for this transition. Also, would you make this move now, or wait until January (I'm not worried about taxes). Thanks as ever.
