Q: Hi 5i,

In response to John's question today about the takeover, could you expand on time to sell. The discount is roughly 15% in cad compared to current prices. Do you feel the takeover will face any competition or rivals? Is it worth the wait to realize discount, assuming PENN goes up by Q1 2022 projected settlement date?

Thx

Q: Re SCR, nice news today. I hold shares in a non-registered account. Penn National is a U.S. listing and I'm concerned about holding them in a non registered account so I expect to sell my shares before the transaction closes.
Is there a "best time" to sell. Thanks John

Q: I have more gaming stocks than I want or need. Can you advise which to hold vs sell.

SCR (down 10%), BRAG (down 40%), and EGLX (up 15%). Thanks

Q: Hi 5i,
I'm hoping you can 'unconfuse' me.
In answer to Bob's question about LUCK on June 25 you said you prefer EGLX and in answer to a question about BRAG on June 8 you discussed SCR. All the questions had to do with the recent change allowing single game betting. I had thought that EGLX and BRAG are gaming platforms and SCR and LUCK are betting platforms, and therefore serve totally different markets, so I don't understand why they are discussed in the same breath, and I also don't understand how the recent legislative change might benefit EGLX and BRAG, although I can readily see how it might be positive for SCR and LUCK.
Can you help me out?
Thanks,
Peter

Q: Hi !

Would you be able to suggest some worthy companies in the sports betting area?
Are valuations reasonable right now? Is 5i interested in any of them?
Cheers,
David

Q: Positive news for gambling sites with bill C-218 passing today. Its likely not to be implemented for a few months yet, to give time for the provinces to set their own rules. Predicted to be a 4B-5B annual market in Canada.

I have strong conviction in EGLX, the future growth in years to follow with gaming, e-sports and now legal single-game betting. Full position already, in a TFSA, looking for torque, and willing to wait. What's not to like?!

Q: What are your thoughts on BRAG and SCORE now? Is it a buy or wait it out? SCR seems to be turning around from speculation that the betting bill would move through the senate before summer. But not for BRAG. Any ideas why BRAG keeps dropping? Is it a buy for either stocks at this point?

Q: Hi team,
I was wondering if you could briefly describe the business model of eglx. I realize it’s a gaming platform , but how do they make money, and what are their plans for long term growth? On a separate note I am a little confused as to why eglx is being compared to scr? From what I gather scr is pretty much solely online sports betting now , and eglx is gaming? Also, would eglx be one to buy right now? And how bullish are you on the name? Is it a potential multi bagger ? Thanks
Shane

Q: Hi team. Scr has quickly become my worst performer down 45% now for me. I am seeing recent price targets of $50, $55; over double today’s levels? Any insight to all the selling recently? Is this a case where a person should just hold now at this point and hope for a recovery , add more , or bail? Thanks for the insight !

Q: I own both of these, should I sell SCR (have a sizeable gain I can realize) or do you see good things for both companies moving forward? If you would sell SCR, can you provide some good 3-5 year growth suggestion as a replacement?
