Q: Hi 5i: How far will you let winners run in the Growth Portfolio before rebalancing? Given the higher risk context generally, will you tolerate more concentration, resulting from the odd holding going on a tear, or will you follow a discipline to keep your position sizes within strict limits? Thanks!

Q: Peter, I was fortunate to get into PHM at .26C. When it reached .52C I sold half my position and considered anything else to be "gravy" and vowed to myself never to touch that stake until one day they were sold, or became the darling of Nasdaq.
Well its up 119% YTD and now makes up 7.5% of my portfolio. It makes me happy and nervous all at the same time.
Should I reconsider my vow, or put my bigboy pants on and just hang on for the ride?

Q: Hi Peter and Team, regarding Wilan, you stated in a response that 'A US listing is expensive', just curious as to what this annual cost is in dollar terms for WIN?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: I bought in last week and broke a trading rule I have, which is to always check insider activity. Now I see that there was some material selling in the $34 range. Did I pay too much at $39.75?
Q: Hi Gang,
It looks like Aston Hill (AHF) is looking to sell itself according to information from PREFBLOG on April 16 as follows:
“Aston Hill is looking for a buyer:
Executives at Aston Hill Financial Inc. have been shopping their firm to other asset managers, hoping to find a buyer.
Over the past two months, senior employees at Aston Hill have reached out to several Canadian firms and expressed interest in selling their company, according to multiple people familiar with the discussions.
The overtures have been made at a volatile time for the company, which recently lost a high profile mandate to manage $2.2-billion ‎worth of funds for IA Clarington Investments Inc. which prompted Aston Hill to slash its dividend.”
What would happen to the share price (currently 81 cents) if a sale occurred?
Any thoughts on when or if this may happen?
Thanks
John

Q: Would you endorse a switch from ET to KXS. ET has not gone anywhere for a long time and except for the takeover potential I do not see any catalyst to drive the stock up.
Q: Good Day, from the companies press releases I noticed that Lloyd I Miller, III has invested in December not sure who that is, but regardless, what is your opinion for a longer term buy in this sector, if not this stock anything comparable?
Q: Hi 5i team,
What are your thoughts on continuing to hold badger? It has had a bit of stock momentum over the past month, but has still been affected by the gloom in the energy sector. Would you recommend continuing to hold badger for the long term or do you think it would be better to switch to a company exposed to an industry more in favour from your growth portfolio? I already own a good portion of your balanced and growth portfolio so I would likely top up my positions or purchase kinaxis as it currently has stock momentum. My position in badger is around 3 percent.
Thanks as always,
Jon

Q: For tax-planning purposes, I'm trying to keep a lid on net income. Can you recommend some quality stocks that pay out a decent, mainly non-dividend distritution (other than REITs and BEP.un, which I already have)?
Thank you!
Thank you!
Q: I have been watching BLD for the past couple monthes. It looks they are having a lot of progress recently with the Buss order from China, Fuel cell tram demonstration, and especially had signed contract with Ardica for the development of portable military fuel cell batteries. Do you know any more details about these activities or contracts and what do you think about this stock now (current price vs upside potential)?
Thanks,
Adam
