Q: Peter, any idea what causes the sell-off? Is the company impacted negatively by low oil? It's very oversold now. Good time to buy? Thanks in advance.

Q: Hi Peter and the team, Both AGU and POT are doing well recently. Under current economic environment, do you think the sector is worth to own. If yes, which name you prefer? I have some new money for TFSA. Thanks.

Q: I currently have 21% of a well diversified portfolio allocated to bonds, all in CBO, would you consider this % adequate in this market.
If OK could you please suggest 2 stocks that are not in the model portfolio or being considered for being added to the MP that I could add alongside the bonds in a rrsp account.

Q: Peter,
The other shoe to drop on the O/G companies is the reserves.
The 4Q report, is it suppose to mark to market the reserves on an accounting basis? And at what price these reserves have been set $100 on average last year? So they will drop 20? 30? 40%?
I know it is a one to one situation, but in your opinion what is %$ the damage they can cause on the sector.
Thanks,
Claude

Q: Hello Peter & Co.
Financials represent only 7.8% of my portfolio; BNS, TD, HCG which I intend to hold and EFN which has not moved much in the last year. I'm thinking of adding CXI or DH. How would you rank those last three?
Thanks,
Tony

Q: should I sell and put proceeds into FHH or some other ETF
Q: HI PETER AND CREW, I wonder if you could recommend a ETF for India also a well managed ETF for gold stocks. Thanks for good work!
Q: Hi, as much as I love the place I find it hard to believe that a ski resort can actually make money in the long term. Would you consider WB a buy right now? I'm interested in the long term sustainability of it's dividend. On a side note, I understand they generate a significant portion of their annual electrical requirements from internally owned, water driven facilities.
Q: should I sell and put it into ZGI, or some other etf
Q: There seems to be so much negative news lately: slow growth in China, deflation in Europe, commodity deflation (oil going to zero)and of course the Greek exit.
Can you think of any positives that might happen this year to bring joy to the hearts of us poor old weary investors.
Mike

Q: Hi Peter and Team,
I am trying to add fixed income to my retiree portfolio. Have never been a fan of fixed income since being badly burned in 1994. (long memory) I am thinking CBO 15% in RRIF's,
CVD 5% in RRIF's
CPD 5% in taxable accounts.
Your suggestions are greatly appreciated. I am reluctant to assume a higher allocation.
Ted

Q: Hello Peter and team;
There has been quite a bit of press lately on energy company high yield bonds, the spike in rates due to their falling prices and potential defaults all as a result of the oil price collapse. There is also reference to previous collapses in the junk bond market as a prelude to a significant pulling down of the broader market with it.
What is your view on this and do you see similarities to the current bond conditions and the collapse of 2008.
Thanks
Jerry

Q: Interfor has been in a pretty good tailspin the last week or so. They did a nice acquisition in December, then in January a bot deal at $20.10. The deal was well received and I understand it was over sold by a lot. Anyway the stock is now at $18.75 and seems to be breaking down. What is your opinion?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Q: can I get your thoughts on Elkwater for my TFSA. I'm pretty balanced and have a 5+ year horizon. Would this be a better opportunity than PLI?
