Q: HI 5i team,
Any thoughts on the recent move in Pinecrest Energy. Is the upside swing based on the revisions to the capital budegt or is something else at work here.
Thanks

Q: Both D.UN and CWT.UN are dropping (1%)sharply today while other REITS including DI.UN and DIR.UN are all rising. Is there any obvious reason for this?
Q: I own CDZ and some XDV. I notice that ZDV has a higher dividend payment than either of these. How would you rate ZDV compared to them?
Q: Trinidad Drilling TDG is currently off by 5.11%, apparently in response to Raymond James downgrading from outperform to strong buy, while raising the target to $11.75 from $11.25. Can or should a brokerage cause such a strong negative reaction in the market, or is there something else going on? Add more at this time??

Q: Hi Peter/5i Team,
Finally sold my CPG and wish to replace it with VET. Do you think that 1/2 position now at $56.77 and another 1/2 position later (hopefully during a pullback) is a good strategy? My wife has TOU in her RRSP (Thank you!) but I don't have any other O/G in mine at the present. Thanks in advance and enjoy Europe.

Q: I'm looking at EXE convertible debs - are they a reasonable risk or is there just too much debt overall to get involved with Extendicare versus their prospects? Thanks, Mike
Q: There was a news article about Magna and the German anti trust authority visiting their plant in Germany. Is this anything to be concerned about.
Q: Hi Peter and the 5I team
I am curious about your thoughts on the recent events at DND. Is this a case of corporate bullying on Watson Pharma's case where they plan to wear DND down with their legal department? To me it seems to be a cut and dry case....DND has the rights to Absorica till 2015. What is up Watson's sleeve? What do you think?

Q: I would like your opinion on Stantec for a 2-3 year hold. I am wondering if I have missed the big gains. If you recommend the company should I enter here or wait for a pullback. Thanks, Bill
Q: Thanks Peter and group for the valuable information you provide. What are your thoughts on Strategic Oil & Gas (SOG)? I own a position from earlier this year when the share price was 20% higher. It has since been on a gradual decline, and I am thinking of taking a loss and move on. Is there any reason to think that it might recover anytime soon?
Q: XGD - is it a good time to invest in XGD right now? Many thanks.
Q: Innvest Reit. (inn.un) I currently hold this investment. I purchased it around $5. and am wondering if it will come back to this level.
Do you think it is a long term hold and is the dividend safe.
Thank you

Q: Hey team, I currently hold Gold Canyon Resources on the venture (GCU.v). Like alot of people I am underwater about 50 percent. What do you think of the company and or the prospects of junior mining in this environment? My thinking is to sell and move on.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Hi
What do you think of Wellpoint for a buy right now. The only US stock I have right now is Emerson (EMR). Would a US healthcare ETF be better way to go? If so what would it be? Thanks

Q: Hello team - I am an investor of quality stocks that will (hopefully) grow their dividends annually. I am looking to add a few Canadian names to my taxable account. I currently own banks, TRP, ALA, BCE, PWF, SAP, BAD, and CNR. Which of the following do you see as having the brightest future for consistent dividend increases: CGX, SNC, CTY, KBL, CSU, THI, TRI, or other (??).
Thanks very much.
Thanks very much.
Q: Hi Peter, my son holds shares of BlackBerry (BB). Will those BB shares be converted in Fairfax Financial shares, or will they be converted in cash when the time comes? Should he simply keep his shares and wait? Thanks, Gervais
Q: I have owned Crescent Point CPG since 2008. I have been happy with the gains I originally made along with the nice monthly dividend. I think it is time to sell it given the rather poor performance that last few years. What would you suggest to replace it in this space? I don't have any other oil producers in my portfolio, just some pipelines. Joe
Q: Thank you for your informative answer on NPI. I, of course, now want to know what you DO think is the best stock in the sector!
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Hi Peter ,
Any thoughts on Northern Dynasty (NDM) now that Anglo America has pulled out of the Pebble partnership? NDM now owns 100% of the project and realized the benefit of Anglo spending $541 million on it over the last 5 years. With the massive deposit of 81 billion pounds of copper and 107 million ounces of gold as well as molybdenum what is the probability of NDM making a new deal, perhaps with Rio Tinto who currently owns 19% of NDM?
I know its a junior and the resource sector stinks but may this be a good entry point for a patient investor?
Thanks.
