Q: Hi 5i,

I own Paramount Resources (POU) as part of my portfolio. The Company released results today and sales from their new Musreau facility are said to be imminent. With the capex mostly behind them for this project and production set to double by the end of the year, do you foresee Paramount initiating a dividend or will they continue to focus on growth and save their money for additional capital expenditures.

Thanks,
Jason

Q: Hi - can you please let me know of any website where I can enter a share symbol and the date I purchased it and the overall gain or loss will be calculated? Some of my shares go back 15 years or so and I would like to see the overall return with dividends.
Thanks!

Q: Hi Peter,
Points International (PTS) announced earnings last night and results beat estimates on both eps and revenues. Company had revenue YOY growth of 68% and seem to be executing quite nicely on their strategy in the loyalty market. What are your thoughts on their results? Do you believe this investment would require a longer term horizon (2-4 years)? And do you believe this company has room for further growth in terms of company performance and shareholder value?

Thank you

Q: Hi Peter and team, With some of the proceeds of our house sale, we'd like to invest in both the Income ($100,000) and Growth portfolios ($150,000). We will hold these in trading accounts since our RRSPs are maxed. Would you recommend starting the year now with an equal (5% each) distribution across the 20 stocks in each portfolio or is there an advantage to using the current weighting? Thanks for your thoughts!

Q: Hi Peter:
Re EIF, CNW reported a couple of hours ago that the company claims the negative media reports are "inaccurate" and that the 2nd quarter report Aug 12 will reveal this inaccuracy. The company also claims they have "no intention to change the current dividend."

Q: Hello: Further to the August 06, 2014 question asked by Paul about the recent market declines... If someone has cash to invest, what would you recommend? Wait till close to the end of Sep.? Wait x weeks to see if the markets "settle down"? And, please tell us where and how to look for the volumes you mentioned? (Total market or individual stocks or etf's?)

Just a few days ago, I invested about $100K in some US etf's. They are, of course, now down about 1.5% to 2.5%. I have a further $275K to invest. Is it best to wait?
