Q: HI guys, I am getting scrubbed clean in my bath with NGD. What is your insight & opinion on them as a buyout or merger partner? Their Blackwater project with 9 mill. ozs. is $1.8B to build. They cannot do it themselves. Is a partner or an outright sale of this project or for the whole company a likely move given their hi debt levels? Your valued thots please. Thanx. Sean

Q: Hello Peter and the 5i team.

I am considering adding a new name to gold equities currently held (AEM, PG, RIC, DGC, YRI and OR).

What is your near term and long term outlook for NGD?

Aside from the names mentioned above, are there any other intermediate size North American focused gold stocks that you would prefer and would you please rate them in your order of preference.

Q: Gold seems to be getting a bit of support even with the strong USD which is encouraging compared to other commodities. With a low CAD$ and cheaper oil CDN producers should have an advantage and be able to increase cashflow. I have G but am looking at other low cash cost producers with mines in Canada. What are your thoughts on Detour, Richmont, and New Gold? Any other suggestions?

Q: Hi since the last time Rainy River (RR) was asked, I would like your opinion of how I should choose in being bought out. I bought it @ $10.78 and is being bought out @ $3.83 cash (~65% loss) or to receive 0.5 of a common share of New Gold. I actually do have New Gold and bought it @ $3.21 a long time ago = a huge gain. What would you do in this case scenario? Can the cash offer in this case be claimed as a tax loss? Or should I take option 2 and add more shares to NGD? I believe NGD is a great company still b/c it was like a merger of 3 great companies back in the old days and was talked about when I started listening to BNN! I don't think these types of questions have ever been asked and welcome your knowledge. Thanks.
