Q: Hi Peter.
I, ve purchased Canacol energy( CNE ) sixteen months ago and am under water on it. Lately some analysts and fund mangers were more upbeat on the prospects for this company and Columbia altogether. I believe T.D. has a 8.00$ price target on the stock ,a year from now, and insiders have been buying the stock, lately. What is your outlook on Canacol, and should I average down on it? Q: Earlier in the week was going to take a position with Twin Butte (TBE) @ $2.21. Today it sits at $2.02. Is it ok to dip my toe in or should I expect some more pullback as a result of their recent problems. Cheers - Chris

Q: Hi 5i. I see in Oct. you felt Ivanhoe Energy was a lottery ticket. I would like to know your opinion of it now that they have sold their China property, straightened out there debt issues and CEO Robert Friedland has purchased close to 7 million dollars worth shares (public market purchase) in the last couple months. Q: Hello, I noticed where Perpetual [PMT] has a NAV of $1.84 yet closed today at $0.86. Should that be interpreted as a buying opportunity? I realize they are mainly a natural gas company and are suffering the affects of a low commodity price. Your comments are appreciated. Thanks - Ron

Q: Southern Pacific just seems to be hated by the market. They brought their plant into operation on time and budget (something almost unheard of lately), yet they seem to get no respect. Do you think its a good investment or will it continue to be a pariah?

Q: Is Tourmaline doing the right thing now (getting more money, but issuing 5 million common shares, up from 3 million)? With this dilution, wiil they get interesting earnings per share ? In contrast, a company like COS does not issue additional shares since quite some years. Isn't it the way to go ?
