Q: With interest rates on the rise is it time to sell my CPD Preferred share ETF and replace it with the common shares of low beta dividend payers. CPD is in a non registered account and is about 5% of my registered and non registered total holdings.

Q: Hi Peter,
CBO and XHB, both from ishares. Similar in yield, similar last 12 months return but big difference in number of holdings. 44 for CBO and 323 for XHB. Morningstar classifies XHB as low risk and CBO as avg risk. What is your opinion on both? Should I buy both? Thanks

Q: Hi Petre & the crew
I have been holding CHE.un for many years for income (+ 15 % + div). With the discussion on a big acquisition and CHE being a trust, would it be more difficult to finance? I am thinking of switching to PKI,CHW or other you may recommand

Q: We own several Reits, pipelines and telecoms and have heard that if the interest rates go up these sectors will go down in value. Is this correct?
If so, what would it take to bring them back to current levels?
If we wanted to invest more in these sectors, when do you think a good time would be?
Thank you

Q: In your most recent comment on Atlantic Power Corporation, you said "2014's payout ratio will be above 100%." Yet the payout ratio for 2013 is estimated at ~70% (per <http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/atlantic-power-corporation-releases-third-quarter-2013-results-231059291.html>); how is it possible to estimate such a sharp increase even before 2014 forecasts are published? (Or am I looking in the wrong place for this information?)
