Q: I find your info very helpful. Thanks! I am looking at etf's ZUE and CUD, both hedged to the Canadian Dollar to round out my US portfolio and ZLB to round out the Canadian portion. Would appreciate any advise you can give me, as well as alternative etf's.

Q: hi, Fr on tsx----is this safe to purchase. I think of it as being one of the madcap good silver companies. I know it fluctuates with price of silver, but is it fairly safe at this price?
Q: Hi Peter: I am looking at buying a position in an Infrastructure or Utility company that is not related to the Oil Sands.
Fortis, Gibsons, ATCO, Keyera, Altagas all come to mind. Do you have a favorite or something else? Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter, just read your answer to previous email. You mentioned
"now the third test. You are right, if these results can get extended over larger samples, then the prospects for ZEN will be very good."
This would be considered large sample would it not? it was the entire length 170m (one half of it)of core from hole 5 that they sampled.
Thanks
Don

Q: Hi,
Any comments on INTER RENT REAL ESTATE (IIP.UN:TSX)? The fundamentals of the REIT show that the business is sound. Does the current price present a good entry point for long term holding (at least 2 years or longer)?
Thank you.

Q: Hi guys,
Sold my Big Rock and looking for something decent dividend and growth. I currently own RY, TD, BNS, CN, IPL.UN, AD, AP.UN, COS, AX.UN, BR,BNP, BEP, BIP, PEY, CSU, EIF, THI, KMP and CFN all about equal weight and a few others smaller ones that I hope to clean up over the year. I want something that pays a decent dividend, (I'm thinking 3% plus)
Thanks for your help!! Brent

Q: Hello to all. My question regards the model portfolio. Could you break down the three main allocations (Stocks,Bonds,Cash %'s) and add any other sectors you would suggest. And also can you suggest a particular bond. Thanks for all your help.
Q: Another question on Leisureworld(LW). Their subscription receipts are trading at about 40 cents below the value of the common shares. Is this a good way to buy into the company. Thanks
Q: What do you think of Canyon Services Group? Time to unload a loser?
Q: Do you prefer a five year corpoate bond ladder or a ten year corp. ladder ETF. It doesn't appear that interst rates are going to move for 16 months or so.
Q: Hi Peter and Team,
What are your thoughts on Tim Hortons[THI] share price from now until the end of the year? We have a nice gain and we would like to lock in profits. We're not sure when THI reports next.
thanks for the great advice

Q: Thank you for your response to my Nucor question, you made a very interesting point, that Nucor will generate $1.4 bb in cash flow this year. I get most of my information about companies through my bank and it didn't have this point. My information seems to be lacking, is there a site that you can suggest that provides better information than a bank?
Q: Hello 5I team, I have a elementary question about the 5i research model portfolio. What do the letters P & L % in the heading mean? I know that "w/div" means with dividend.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Q: Peter
Winpak/s recent quarter seemed a little weak . Do you anticipate any issues with this company for the rest of the year ? Should I stay invested ?
Thanks

Q: hi what can you guys tell me about orvana minerals orv on the T. Is this a current or near future low cost producer or just another gamble in the metals sector.
Q: I was hoping that WEF would benefit from the general prosperity in the lumber and construction areas but it seems to be well and truly stuck at its present levels. Is the large controlling interst a problem? Do you think there will be further stock issues from this source? If so what would be your suggestion for investment in this sector without this overhang.
Thank you
Thank you
Q: Hi, I've been slowly building my portfolio and buying the stocks from your model portfolio. I've been replacing my current stocks that haven't been doing so well. In particular, Carfinco (CFN). I'm down about 17% and not sure if I should hang on or get rid of it. Is this worth hanging on to or should I replace it with a comparable from your portfolio or can you suggest something better? I'm down about $400 and wondering how long it will take to re-gain that amount or better.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: Hi
I plan to sell a significant portion of my portfolio at this time, but I would prefer not to let my money languish as cash. I am considering the purchase of VSB.T as a holder for a few months. What do you think of this move? Is VSB a good place to stash it for a while?
Thanks for the advice.
