Q: Good luck Peter ... happy cranking... Ryan I am about to add a rather substantial amount of pension $$ into my account. I am completely covered in the Model Portfolio with existing RRSP's ...should I just step into purchasing Income Portfolio at the 5% allotment giving me 39 stocks in my total portfolio. Can you give me some direction please. TY.

Q: Hi guys,
With BKW stock continuing to climb in the last week I'm wondering what I should do with my 200 shares of THI in my TSFA? Your thoughts are appreciated.
Good luck on the ride.
Thank you,
Brent

Q: Good afternoon, I was wondering your thoughts on the recently announced equity issue by WSP Global as well as the acquisition? Deal appears accretive and the last big deal they went through was well recieved by the market (earlier this spring).
Thanks in advance.

Q: Hi - good luck on the ride Peter. Any thoughts on the WSP acquisition and financing. Seems like a very large deal for them.
Q: What are your thoughts on DynaCert Inc? this stock has been moving up the last 6 months. are you aware of this company at all?
Q: Peter - there are 2 stocks that I have owned in the past and which are now in doghouse with investors. One is AVO and the next is ACQ. Now AVO is well documented in terms of its history and its CEO. I have read your comments in the past. But this scenario will change. will the change be sudden with news of a purchase or the next set of earnings. Have we hit bottom and will the re-evaluation be sudden.
ACQ has not made any serious mistakes as far as I can tell. They have grown dramatically and taken on debt however. The CEO appears to have a vision and is carrying it out.
In 1year is it likely that these 2 stocks will be dramatically higher than now. Is it a good idea to start to dabble

Q: Morning 5i,
My question pertains to the Cash Distributions (CD) paid per unit on iShares ETF's. If the previous year a particular ETF was paid a high CD per unit does that mean we could expect the same this year? Or do these CD's change drastically from year to year, and if so then what drives the amount of the CD? An example would be iShares Alternatives Completion Portfolio Builder Fund, symbol XAL. 2013 CD was $0.63777/unit paid.

Q: Ryan; I assume you are minding the shop while Peter does his ride so I am addressing this to you. Peter is about $6,000. short of his goal of $75,000.00 if I read the info correctly. I am asking everyone- or just 100- subscribers to ask themselves if they have made at least $60.00 from using this site? Now if 100 of us contributed that $60.00- fully tax deductible next spring- Peter would be at his goal. That's all folks. Rod
Q: Good Day. Please provide your views regarding MLF 's acquisition of the Canadian operations of Standard Life with particular emphasis relative to synergies, disclosed financing plan, future dividend policy and impact on growth and outlook for MLF? CEO says Three cents/year for next three years. At 12x EPS, it seems like its possible impact on the stock price could be negligible. Thanks.
Q: KBL
I am a new subscriber to 5I and nicely getting into the detailed info.
I have been a long time holder (Oct 2009) of this KBL position and need to sell a half position to offset a capital loss.
What can you recommend to purchase (2 or 3 choices)that would provide similar growth and dividend.Yield has slowly decreased from 8% to~3%. Thx

Q: Please inform of stocks that are on the TSX that are the most attractive to trading on a regaular basis, in the resource sector if possible. Thanks
Q: CFN - dropping. Is it still a buy/hold?
Q: Petro One Energy (POP) dropped 50% in one day following a financing update. From your experience does this sound like a back out by the Koreans. Should I sell and move on.
Q: Hello Peter..not a question..just want to say.."enjoy the ride" and thanks for all you do!
Be safe!
Be safe!
Q: Good Luck Peter.
Q: What are your views on Bank of New York Mellon (BK) in comparison to Canadian Banks?
Q: US company, but can you comment on SFXE.US?
Q: Hi Peter & Ryan,
Good luck to Peter on his ride; I have just made a donation both for the cause itself and to support Peter as a way of saying "thanks" for 5i. The weather here in the Lower Mainland is improving and it looks like the sun will be shining for at least the first leg of Peter's ride.
Best of luck and safe journey!!!
Cheers,
Mike

Q: Canexus is down hard on the NR regarding a dispute with MEG. Do you have anymore insight into the dispute? Why would MEG refuse the tie in? I do not own it but follow it.
