I bought some Russell Metals RUS in early January and it has dropped almost 9%. Has the story changed on this one or is it the January general malaise in the market.

If this was you would you sell, take your loss and put the proceeds into something with a better risk/return. I have read your comments in your site and listened to you on BNN and know it has a good dividend but it takes a long time for a dividend to make up for the loss in stock price. Thank you Barb

Hi 5i, Notice Peter commented on this company in April last year. With the news out today from IBM R&D on a graphene chip 10,000 faster then a silicon one, and realizing this is still very, very early and a PEA due out from the company in the near future, if you guys had any thoughts on what might be a catalyst for an investment decision, specifically for this company and also more generally for smaller / start up type corporations.

Q: Siemens (SI)has announced its intention to delist the ADRs "immediately". What impact would you expect on the stock price? Roughly how long would you expect the delisting process to take? SI states that the ADRs will become subject to a "sponsored level 1 program". What is this and does it offer any advantages to North American holders? Absent the proposed delisting would you hold or sell SI?

Q: I own CUS & CFN in my TFSA: my costs are $5.07 & $8.17 respectively. CUS is getting killed due to huge dilution of share base & problems with their expansion in AB; CFN also increased share base recently and the stock does not seem to go anywhere. I am thinking of selling these dogs and moving on-comments please.

We don't need to get into my specific weightings as everyone's targets will be different based on their situation. However,
I'm a little unsure where to categorise certain stocks, which isn't helping my analysis.

Can you confirm the list in general makes sense, and I'm not overlapping? If so, can you please help with the following?

AVO- you had referred to it before as an Industrial, wouldn't it fit in the Information Technology space?
MDA, GIB.A - do you consider these Info Tech, Software, or Industrial?
BAM.A - Financial or Industrial?
WIN - Financial or Info Tech, or Telecom?

(You have catergory groups on the right hand side for financials, metals, oil, real estate, technology already. One helpful thing, at least for me, would be to have categories for each of the areas above, so people could reference stocks in those areas when looking at their weightings. It may help reduce amount of questions like this and be a great resource for subscribers).

My son(35) has about 6Kin RRSP in mutual funds and cash and want to begin Direct Investing. What do you suggest as investments right now ETF's if so which ones or picking a few stocks from your portfolio with growth/dividend potential over next few years but not a lot of risk. Thanks so much .

What is your opinion on AGF? Over 9% yield and has gotten wacked recently with poor results. Looks like they could turn this around and ride the coattails of an improving market. Is it better to stay away and stick with GS, FSZ, C etc.
