Q: hello 5i team,
i have heard you mentionning how utilities will be hit when there is a rise in interest rates. It has made me wonder whether i should take some action now. I have about 7 per cent in the utility sector. of that 7 per cent, about 4.5 per cent is composed of Emera. Well, when i look at my portfolio i have two questions:
the first is should I take some out of utilities altogether at this point and put it in another sector?
if it is a good idea to stay the course, would I be best to sell some emera and buy, say, bem.un? I do own some Enbridge, aswell. Or, given that this is a fairly secure sector, is there possibly not much value in diversification?
