Q: I feel the alternate/renewable energy space might be a good place to invest in. what would you recommend, the amt. would be $20,000. or so. it would seem perhaps and etf could be an option vs a stock. What do you recommend? Thank you again.

I currently own BCE and Telus. I want to increase my exposure to Telco for dividend income purposes 7 years down the road. For diversification and income purposes do you see any reason to add any other names such as Shaw Rogers Quebecor or Corus or simply add to the two that I own.

Q: I always find myself fully invested and when an opportunity presents itself..for example Aya..I don't have cash to invest. How much cash should one hold in an account? Is it OK to borrow to invest? How does one make a decision to sell one to purchase another? Thanks.

Q: Hi In May of 2013 the US had started to telegraph the raising of interest rates. Most income stocks like REIT's were hit hard for an extended time. Do you think that in Dec when it is possible for rates to rise that we may see the same scenario again.
