Q: re: KcKesson Corporation... MCK is the symbol I used with no results. I know you have mentioned in the past you are not necessarily well informed on US Companies and that this will be changing in the future. Do you have an opinion on McKesson? Do I have the wrong symbol?

Q: Not sure if this has been previously asked, but would it be possible to include another column per your portfolios ('Summary' and 'Model') of an exact date of when you formally recommended a company into your portfolios for subscribers? It would certainly help for backtracking purposes to monitor your track record (a good one at that) in pulling up daily/weekly charts.
I use CF as an example, you posted a writeup on Jan 20/2013 at a price of $7.29 with a 2014 P&L and Total P&L the same of -6.2%. These numbers being the same brings up a further query upon looking at your reports, it says this is a "Review of Canaccord Genuity Group" which has me looking for the "Initial" report (of which I don't think there is a previous report). Just a little confusing in looking for another report, but if there was an initial date recommendation column then no further searching would be required. The 2 same P&L numbers tells me there is only 1 report.
I would find the inclusion of dates to be a valuable data set. Thank you 5I team for the service you provide.

Q: ESL: there appears to be insider selling in January, should this be a concern.?
Q: GE... while being a holder of GE right now with the recent down turn may not have much appeal, this is a quality well diversified company which should be able to take advantage of any US recovery over the next few years. My questions are at what price do when think would be a good entry point or, do you think an investor should wait until April when quarterly results will be published?

What is your advice on the % of high risk/reward stocks one may hold in their portfolio? I know this may comes down to an investors personal profile but at what point does it effect overall returns? Through 5i I have become aware of several small but interesting companies such as PLI,DND,INP,ASG,IFA. I have followed your comments closely and hold half positions in each. I now hold about 25 stocks in my porfolio. Should I have been more disciplined and doubled up on some of these positions to keep my porfolio closer to 15 to 20 in size?

Q: BPF.UN I been a customer and shareholder for years. My returns have been excellent and the food is good. Recently I paid $28.00 for a four topping pizza at lunch. A menu change including prices had occurred that I didn't notice.
I mentioned the cost to the waitress and the response was " we are getting lots of comments". I'll be watching the next quarter closely.

I have been overweight stocks for some time, and while it may still a bit premature, for piece of mind I would like to increase my fixed income weighting to approx. 30%. My feeling is that over the next 2-3 years interest rates in the US will slowly trend higher, and likely even more slowly in Canada. With this in mind, my bias is to allocate towards shorter term corp bonds, REITS, and Preferred issues (recognizing that the latter two are more fixed income proxies more than true plays). For each of these sectors do you think I am best allocating exposure via ETF's (for example, VSC, ZRE and XPF), or do you think that there is a case to be made for buying best of breed individual issues in each class. Specifically in concerns with the ETF approach is that slightly higher rates over time may see a fall in the price of VSC negate all of the dividend benefit (whereas holding an individual bond to maturity will ensure I earn a return), while I understand that there may be inefficiencies within the Canadian Preferred market (pricing/liquidity) which mean that an ETF may not be the best approach here either. Your thoughts would be most welcome. Thanks.
