Q: TOS: you were pretty negative about TOS yesterday. Today Canaccord was positive about the company - not hard as it moved up 35%. Does the latest company report change your mind?

It’s the Final Countdown! TSO3 reported second-quarter results, with revenues growing to $132,179, as compared to $37,255
in the second quarter in 2013. EPS for the quarter came in at a loss of $0.02, in line with consensus estimates. The innovator in
low temperature sterilization technology for medical devices, said the higher sales in 2014 reflect a higher utilization by the
users of the installed base of sterilizers leading to increased sales of consumables, as well as an increase in maintenance and
compatibility testing services. Canaccord Genuity Sustainability Analyst Sara Elford notes that the results were in line with her
estimates and the core tenets of her investment thesis remain as follows: (1) technology platform is game-changing and
applicable across multiple products and end-markets; (2) business model is excellent (very healthy, high-margin recurring
revenue from captive consumable sales based on the in-use installed base); (3) cash balance is sufficient to fund current burn
rate past Q3/15; (4) her confidence in U.S. clearance in 2014 remains very high (5) in her view TSO3 should be an acquisition
target in due course following a successful FDA outcome. In mid-July, TSO3 received an Additional Information Request from
the Agency with respect to its May 2, 2014 submission. Management is very pleased with the bilateral communications so far
and expects to have everything back into the FDA in its final form within a month or two. Elford believes that U.S. clearance
could be a 2014 event, representing an important catalyst for the company.

Q: Bell Aliant
Provided I can purchase Bell Aliant at $31.00 per share or less, does it make sense to buy BA when BCE is trading greater than $48.66.
Essentially I would be buying BCE at a discount to the trading price (on august 05 BCE was $49). I have ignored commission on the trade, but its pretty minor at $10 per trade.

Q: I bought Capital Power CPX.PR.A preferred shares. Should I have bought instead CPX Capital Power, not the preferred. They keep going up and they increased dividing to 7.9%. The preferred just keep going down. I thought buying the preferred would be safer but there is no gains with them, only losses. Thanks.

Q: I hate to be an ambulance chaser, but is the Mount Polley tailings pond breach an opportunity to pick up some more shares of Imperial Metals? With the Red Chris mine soon to be on-line, it seems like this might be a good time to add some shares.

Q: Hello Peter and Staff
I own some BADger, and it is disconcerting to see it drop on a daily basis, with heavy selling volume. I am concerned that my purchase was made when growth mode changed to a Stop mode. One does wonder about underlying rumours etc. If I were to sell, it would not be pretty, if I hold, would it be reasonable to expect recovery in the short to medium term or is one looking way down the road. Thanks as always for your learned advice.

Q: Hi Team,

Back in the spring, you suggested the following stocks for RESP accounts:
13 year old going to grade 9: Stantec, Badger, Boyd, Linamar, Enghouse, Stella Jones, Sun Life, Black Diamond, Cineplex.

7 yr old all of the above would still be suitable, but more aggressive names would be DHX Media, Surge Energy, Teck Resources, Home Capital, Tricon, Element Financial, Amaya and Sylogist.

Questions:
1 - Would you still recommend the listed names at current prices
2 - Could you suggests an alternate name for Amaya (non-gambling stock)? QST?
