Q: Hi Peter, once again, your service is just fantastic, appreciate all that you do. My question relates to MMT (Mart Resources). I heard one commentator state that MMT has too many shares outstanding and hence he does not like MMT. Would you like to comment on the fact that MMT does have over 300 million shares outstanding and in the context of the big picture, is that to excessive? Thanks again, Ilesh

Q: I know you don't like to make it a practice to comment on quarterly earnings reports, but ESL has now gone through two mediocre quarters, and since you have only 3 companies rated higher in your Reports, and only another 3 rated as high, I wonder if there is some reason to be concerned that the company may fall short of your long term expectations, especially since, although the company pays a dividend it is such a small one there is little incentive to keep the stock for that reason alone.

Q: I took a very small position in RIM. More to help watch the stock than anything. I'm curious what your thoughts on the recent Apple vs Samsung court decision and how it may affect the playing field in general and RIM in particular. Does this make RIM a more attractive take over target?

Q: what do you guys think of mrt.un? I've held it for a few years and have recently notice Morguard Corp has been adding to its, I think, 48% holding. Today, Morguard Corp picked up 57,500 shares of mrt.un (according to the tsx website) and earlier this week they picked up another 14,500 (according to canadian insider). Scotia shows they have a book value north of $20. Is there a possibility that Morguard takes them out?

Q: Hi Peter,
I was waiting for a correction in quality REIT names as Dundee (D.UN), Brookfield Infrastructure (BIP.UN) and Brookfield Renewable. It looks like their correction is over. Would you step in at this point. Do you still like REIT sector. For 40% of my portfolio including Alaris.

Any opinion, by any chance, on Beutel Goodman LT Bond fund for another 40% of portfolio in current environment.

Q: Hi Peter,
I have read on Transat (TRZ.B)last week, and it said that the company has a book value, without intangible assets , of $ 4,80....and as soon as they get rid of their commercial paper,(57MM$) they would have more than $7,80 in cash ....is it possible??
The stock trade at $3,50....value ou trap ????
