Q: I am building a self managed RRSP and TFSA portfolio which is the model portfolio and a touch of the B+ and better rated stocks. Thank you for the great results. With a 15 year horizon I am slowly adding laddered bonds, in addition I have XLY, IBB, IWO, YUM and TAL for US holdings.

I am transferring, in kind, my BMO managed Blueprint stocks to a self trading account, some are already in the model portfolio. Should I keep any of the stocks that are not in the model portfolio or should I dump them all and buy the model portfolio?

I'm not attached to any of them, not concerned with the trading fees.

Q: What are your thoughts on WRG. I hold this in my grandson's RESP. The stock seems to be highly rated, but is down 12% from what I paid for it.

Q: Your opinion on AFN (Ag Growth International) and VALE (Vale SA). I do not have any exposure in either agriculture or mining. The exposure would become 10% of my portfolio (5% of each).

How long do cease trade order normally last once a company files the paper work they were missing (ie is the bureaucracy at BCSC pretty quick?)
Looks like PTQ had a cease trade order implemented on Friday (after close?) due to late filing of their quarter documents.

Q: Currently holding MDA, STN and GIB.A and have been considering bringing GIB.A and STN up to 5% by selling MDA. Also one I don't hold at this time is TIH and have considered adding it. I would appreciate your input before making this move.

This is a list of stocks and etf's that I currently own and was wondering if I should rebalance or add other sectors or etf's. ewj, grmn, hnl, acq, bns, esl, fez, hcg, stn, xef, bad, bpo, cgx, csu, gil, iwo, mg, pfz, ry and vrx.
