Q: 5i Team,
In a previous question, you advised that good portfolio diversification should include 65% Cdn equities, 25% US equities, and 10% global equities. Right now I am severally underweight in global equities, with a 3.5% holding in Emerging Markets PIE-N, and that’s it. I’m looking at topping up to your recommended 10% level with other ETFs, but don’t know what to buy? I’m relatively young and willing to move up the risk curve to get higher returns, what would you suggest? I’m thinking one ETF that tracks Mexico @ 3.5% weighting, and one for Japan @ 3.5% weighting, perhaps? Or should I be looking at Europe? Or just go at a full 10% with PIE-N or some other Global ETF??? Oh the choices….
