Q: I was looking to initiate a position in BOS but was surprised to learn it is considered a consumer stock, apparently because of its sales to the auto industry. I also own Magna and am concerned that I may be overweighting in the auto sector. How important is the auto sector to BOS and if I was to own just one of these stocks, would it be MG because of its size?

earlier question about the enb pref.......ticker is PF.G

The dividend is initially fixed until September 1, 2020. On September 1, 2020 and on September 1st every five years thereafter the dividend will be re-set and fixed at a rate that equals the sum of the Government Of Canada Yield (GCAN5YR) plus 2.68%.

Q: In an earlier response you made a reference to “the typical small cap January bounce after a disastrous year”. I’m holding a few big loosers which I was looking to dump for a year end portfolio clean-up. I didn’t want to do any selling in the middle of the tax-loss selling season and was holding on in hopes of this “January bounce”. Given the way the market has started off the year so far, I’m beginning to think the chances of a bounce have all but faded away. Looking into your crystal ball, would you suggest still holding out a little while longer in the hope of a minor short term rebound in some of the names that have been decimated over the last year?

Q: 2 questions:

I have done very well with ABBV, but wonder how much of an impact is likely when Humira comes off patent in 2016. Have you heard of any company plans that would offset the loss? Do you have a hold or sell suggestion?

How much and what kind of a difference is VEF’s transition from the FTSE Developed ex North America Hedged CAD Index to the FTSE Developed All Cap ex US Hedged to CAD Index? How is it likely to affect my returns?

Q: Hi Peter
Why when running stock screens under criteria in which you know certain stocks should pass,they don't come up,I notice this happens quite often.
The free screen I have been using is at Zacks, I find the large selection of criteria to be better than most.
I subscribe to both Morningstar & The Globe & Mail and find their stock screens lousy.The Globe Investor Gold advanced filter screen was the best, but they closed it down because it was to costly to Maintain.

Q: Hello Peter & Co,
In my previous question, I was enquiring about exposure to the US Housing sector to add to a position I already hold with TCN; in your response you mentioned a few REITs but I was surprised that you did not mention any of the Canadian lumber companies such as Interfor or Western Forest.

Q: Would it make sense to construct my portfolio buying all the A rating for companies under 5iResearch coverage and to diversify I would pick some of the B rated companies, replace them as you eliminate or down grade them?

Q: Happy New Year! Thank You for the great service. I hold HCG, BAD and ACQ in my TFSA. All 3 have losses ranging 40% to 47%. I'm a buy and hold type of investor and not looking at selling my positions. What is your long term outlook for these stocks (greater than 5 years).

Q: SIRI,the US co of XSR reported that in 2015,its subscribers of 2.3m exceeds 2m guidance.It expects to meet or exceed its 2015 guidance for revenue,adjusted Ebitda & free cash flow.Will announce results in 1st week of Feb.It was up .03 to $3.93 after hours. XSR is slated to report results after close of market on 1/13.Its last q shows eps of .02 vs .04 expected resulting in a big drop in its price.Please provide your view on up coming results Always appreciate your great services & opinions
