Q: Regal Lifestyle Communities (RLC) - any chance for an update from your last comments in May? It's dividend is now over 9% due to the drop from it's IPO price. Is this a dog to be avoided or worthwhile purchasing for a diversified income portfolio. I already own Medical Facilities Corp (DR) and Leisureworld Senior Care Corp (LW) in my Healthcare sector at 2.8% each weighting. Adding RLC would increase my sector weight to 8.5% Would Chartwell be a safer bet? Thanks!

Q: I'm looking at Mcan Mortgage Corporation (MKP) for dividend income and some capital gains. You last commented on this company on March 28th. The stock dropped significantly throughout May and June but has recently turned around. It pays an 8.2% dividend. What is your currently thinking on this company? Is the dividend safe? Is this a good entry point? Is this company sensitive to interest rate increases? I appreciate your team's research and value your opinion. Thank you!

Q: BB

I see that TD Waterhouse has a Book Value on BB @ $18.89 - shares closed @ $9.30 today. Does Book Value mean that if the company was sold it's assets would be worth $18.89/share. If that is the case wouldn't it be a good idea to keep my shares and hope for either a big turn around or a sale. BB is 2% of my portfolio.

Thank You

Q: Doing some DD into a small company called Savaria (SIS). I like small cap stocks as many run under the radar of mass market volatility and I've learned over time the right ones can have hidden potential. Would appreciate your thoughts - Cheers.

Q: Good morning, 5i. I was about to buy some Whitecap Resources when it was announced they are one of three players (CNQ and Venturion Oil being the other two) purchasing Barrick Gold's energy assets. Does this look like a good move for Whitecap (and the other two as well), or should I hold off and wait for the dust to settle? Many thanks for your valuable service. John.

Q: WJX seems to be down over $1.00. Any reason that you know of? I thought it was benefiting from the flood situation in Calgary and have held for a long time now. Perhaps this the end of the rise in price?
