Q: I am looking reallocate my group RRSP of approx. $40k - I was thinking to split it between a US large cap fund and something like Templeton Global. Your thoughts on where to position these funds for the next year or 2? Thanks.

Q: Please suggest a source of fundamental Canadian stock data for retail clients. By which I mean detailed enough to be useful but not overwhelming. It should also include micro/Mid caps stock data of the type of stocks mentioned at 5i Research.

Q: Greetings, Team:

A commentator on BNN said that he was shocked that the jury in Texas took only one hour to decide the technically complicated WIN/Apple case. I suspect that the jury fell for the argument that the bottom-feeding CANADIAN company was attacking the glorious AMERICAN company. Any thoughts and is it likely to happen again?

Q: Would you please comment on the safety of a couple preferred stocks which I hold? I am aware that recent interest rate concerns have pushed prices lower, but these two preferreds seem to have suffered much more than others.
They are BRF.PR.F and BAF.PR.A

Q: I watched BNN last Tuesday and an analyst said that TSX is at a 2-year high and suggested that short-term investors should take a side-line position now.

I need to cash in most of my “Cash Portfolio” next March/April for a major home renovation project. I have the following stocks in this portfolio. I also have some cash.

AGU, BNS, AYA, CGX, MG, ENB, MDA.

AGU is down 7%, all others are fine.

Please suggest which/when stocks I should sell and/or switch to more short-term tolerant stocks. Thanks again!

Q: re. Zenn Motor (ZNN-V)

What is your considered opinion of the investment merits of Zenn Motor? I'm aware that the co. is developing (with an American partner) a new and, of course, a better electric battery for the auto industry. Would this be an interesting speculation, or is this just another high risk gamble with little chance of a pay-off any time soon?

Additionally, kudos for your call on MCR-V ... I've done very well with this stock after only 6 weeks.
