Q: BPT. I was wondering if this is a good way to play the oils for the large dividend it offers and it's seemingly stable environment in Alaska. Your opinion on this royalty trust please. Thanks.

Q: My specific question is on CXR: Concordia Health. It is down 16% over last 5 days and I can find no reason for it. I have searched my best sources--CNW, the TSX site, Google Finance and Globe and Mail and cannot find anything---is there a problem?
My general question is on length of time or % down something goes before I take action if I can find no reason for the change in valuation. I have at times used 10% as I thought that should elminate most market action. Is there a number you would recommend?
Bryon in Elmira

Am i wrong?

Q: Canexus
hi
Canexus is down 12% today, is it all on the departure of the CEO ? is he that important to the companies long term plan or is it a sign bad news is coming ? seems too late to sell now and it seems like their oil transport business should at least be profitable. thanks

Q: CUS-huge hit to-day, I guess, because sudden departure of Pres. & CEO? Probably due to huge cost over runs in AB and in Vancouver perhaps? Did an equity issue recently: is dividend safe & is this a good buying opportunity?
Q: Further to Glen's question, Scotia says the departure "could be a consequence of the delays and cost overruns associated with the Bruderheim Terminal".
Q:

Q: Peter and Team,
Any further thoughts on Constellation Software's earnings and dividend? It looks like the market likes the earnings and they look good to me. I am continuing to hold this name. Any red flags to you fine folks?

Q: Good afternoon 5i.
I have held CPG for several years now and while I have waited patiently for some upward movement in stock price, it continues to hover around the high $30's to $40 range. I am underwater by $2-3. I know from your comments to others that you are not a big fan of CPG. I am thinking of switching to BTE. I wouldn't give up much in yield, and I am thinking that there may be some good futurestock price value from the recent shale oil acquisition in Texas.
I'd appreciate your thoughts on this before I proceed. Brian

Q: hi Peter
I am interested in two ETN's (Exchange Traded Notes - GLDI and SLVO).
GLDI is a Credit Suisse Gold Shares Covered Call ETN (Yield of 16.2%) and
SLVO is a Credit Suisse Silver Shares Covered Call ETN (Yield of 31.06%).
They appear to be stable investments but the yields seem to be surprising high.
Can you please let me know your opinion on these 2 ETN's.
Thanks,
Mike

Q: hello, just wondering your opinion on CNQ [canadian national resources] should i sell or hold this stock, or maybe sell it & buy BAYTEX ? BTE.TO, any input appreciated. thank you.
Q: Hi Peter and team. This is the 2nd time I heard someone mention an income portfolio. Has the 5i team published another portfolio, other than the model portfolio, I am not aware of? I remember last year you guys mentioned the possibility of starting a growth portfolio. Any updates on than front?
Lastly, I have zero oil/gas exposure. I was thinking of increasing my monthly income stream and getting a little growth as well by adding a combo of whitecap resources (wcp), torc oil and gas (tog) and surge energy (sgy). I was thinking, initially, these 3 names will collectively make up between 4% and 6% of my portfolio. Do you see anything wrong with the combination of these three names? I see torch sold off today after they released their earnings.
Thanks again and safe travels.

Q: Hello peter and crew,
I am considering adding a "sin" position in my account. From what I can see that generally includes cigarettes, liquor , and gambling. Ideally looking for stability, dividend and a little growth. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
