Q: Could you tell me when QST issues their next quarterly report, and what are the expectations. What do you think of the risk-reward on this stock at this point. Thanks.
Q: I have sold some of my shares in CSU to bring down my allocation from 10% ( thanks to you by the way)
I now have enough cash to buy a new company with a 5% allocation in my RRSP. I'm thinking of VNR, ZRE or AW.UN.
At this moment which one would you purchase?
My RRSP is not quite your Income Portfolio but close.
Thank you

Q: RME has been beaten up pretty badly over the past year. At today's level and in view of the company's financial health (in particular, the sustainability of the dividend) and future prospects would you consider this an attractive entry point for a 2-3 year hold?
Q: AVL has been recovering on high volume. Has there been any significant development that would indicate a sustainable turnaround?
Appreciate your valuable service. Peter

Q: I have held Baytex and Crescent Point for a number of years and have taken a hit with the drop in oil price. Are these worth hanging on to, or should I sell and switch to Whitecap or something else. I am interested in capital gain, ax well as dividends. Thank you. Bob H
Q: Hi Peter I wish to keep 30% of my portfolio in non-Equities. What, and how much do you advise? ( no race horses please)-JP What happened to your bond, portfolio?
Q: Hello Peter & Co,
In one of my previous questions, I had asked which of BIN or MAL to replace CHE.UN in the Industrials sector (6.0% of portfolio); your answer was to add BIN because the exposure to the sector could be increased. Fine!
My portfolio also holds CNR, BIP.UN and STN; they fall on the larger "industrials" umbrella. With these holdings, my exposure is at 12.4% (vs 9% in the TSX).
Would this clarification change your answer?
Thanks,
Antoine

Q: Hi Peter,
Being retired, we owned WEQ and AAR.UN for dividend income for a couple years now. On WEQ we thought that the company would reduce the monthly dividend by atleast half, BUT they took it away completely. You said in the past that when a company does something that completely changes it to sell the shares...which we did last week for a very large loss. On AAR.Un we finally have our origiginal purchage price back and because both companies are run by much of the same management we would like to sell our AAR before management can run it into the ground like they did with WEQ.
We are looking for advice on a steady REIT to replace AAR.UN with for the long haul. Those were the only two REITs that we owned.
Thank you,
Charlie

Q: Could you recommend 2 or 3 Canadian corporate bond Etf's in order of preference ? Much appreciated.
Q: Hi Peter,
I am a new subscriber and one of my first objectives is to incorporate your model port into my investment port.
I need a bid of guidance from you on that.
Currently from your port I already own (before subscribing) BNS, ENB, FSV, MG, STN and SLF.
So that is 6 out of the 20. Question to you is, in what priority (order) would you purchase the other 14 positions as cash becomes available.
This will help me prioritize my purchasing.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Q: Hi Peter and crew,
Love your service.
Could you expand for me on the concept of smart/dumb money I’ve heard mentioned on BNN.
And where do these folks find such information?
Thanks
Jon

Q: What is your opinion of this company?
Q: Hello Peter & Co.
Auto parts = 5.1% of my portfolio; own LNR,MG; XTC seems similar to LNR but on a smaller scale. I could add it with new money or shift profits from LNR & MG.
Industrials = 6% of portfolio; own CCL,CHE.UN,SJ; thinking of replacing Chemtrade with either BIN (garbage) or Magellan (aerospace) for more kick. By the way, I own MDA (Technology)
I value your opinion
Thanks,
Antoine

Q: At these levels, would you consider gamehost ok for a smallish position in an RIF?Thanks!
Q: Increasingly, larger and larger corporations with supposedly robust firewalls are being hacked. Also, an article last week on the CNBC website reported that a number of US based online brokerages/dealers had been hacked and account holders had lost their money as a result. This raises the concern that independent Canadian online brokerages (like Questrade, for example) are now vulnerable to being breached and account holders could have their funds stolen. Am I being paranoid or is this within the realm of possibility given the ever greater sophistication of hackers? If so, do you know if these brokerages have government mandated cybersecurity insurance that would compensate account holders for their losses? I wrote to Questrade about this and they seem to be stalling on giving me an answer. It would seem easy for them to tell me whether or not they have this type of insurance. I'm wondering if I might be better off transfering my account to a bank-run online brokerage service. Or is it just as vulnerable to attack?

Q: Can you tell me when the revised model portfolio will be released . Will the updated portfolio carry the same number of stocks and what if any of the existing companies will be continued on the new model portfolio . MY goal is to invest $120M of RRSP's and TFSA funds in only A-B rated companies on your new portfolio. It would be helpful if you could highlight which companies would be best suited for RRSP's versus TFSA .
Thank You Rick

Q: Could you provide any insight into Horizon Pharma HZNP.Q
Q: Just a comment. When I lived in Australia breath testing for cannabis was already standard practice at every breathalyser
test. So this technology is not new.
