Q: Am considering a change from present US ETF holdings - VB & VO.
These 2 represent approx. 50% of total US investments. What is your crystal ball opinion for a switch to an equal amount between XLV & XLY? As always - thank you.

Q: Hi Pete,

Watching Freehold go into a free fall over the past couple of weeks. Would you say it is compelling value at $11 given that it has gone from p/b of 4 + down to about a P/b of 2? Or is this a value trap given that oil could go lower from here? I appreciate your thoughts.

Q: As I right this question, TN.UN is trading at $7.81 which is substantially below the announced deal value of $9 (cash and shares of new entity). Any idea why there is such a drastic spread from the announced takeover price??

Q: The market has downgraded BPF substantially - by about 13% - since March, compared to others such as AW.UN, QSR and KEG.UN. That's two years' worth of dividends. The yield on BPF.UN is now up to 6.6%, which looks excellent, but the downward trend relative to other restaurants looks worrisome. What's happening with BPF.UN? Is it time to get out of the stock or time to enjoy the higher yield and wait for a rebound?
