Q: BNP Bonavista just issued stock at $16.50 to buy some of FEL's assets. Market seemed to think BNP got the better deal. Another implication is that it means no dividend cut for BNP in 2013. Currently BNP is trading below the offer and if the money was smart that bought in at $16.50 I could consider myself smarter at a $16.20 buy in. Is this a reasonable assumption?

Q: Hi Peter, there seems to be an investigation on management on Monster Beverages. I've made decent returns already so the question is, from your experiences, should I sell as soon as possible or is this lawsuit being blown out of proportion? I haven't dealt with a stock that has been accused of falsifying financial statements until now (thank goodness!).

Q: Hi peter i have shares in wfi , I have made lots of money off this stock and i have retained about half of my shares , Why is this stock largely ignored even with its yield , it just seems to chug along. Does it happen to have any real flaws , like a large debt load etc. Thanks for your reply.

Q: Hi Peter,

I am really enjoying my membership in 5iResearch.

I was wondering if you could suggest 2 or 3 long term (+10 year) holding equities for a TSFA. My interests are good quality stable dividend yielding holdings (with a history of increasing dividends) that support DRIP programs. My goal is to accumulate via dollar cost averaging via the DRIP for about 10 years. Then exit the DRIP option and withdraw the dividends as a tax-free revenue stream.
