Q: Peter,

I love your service! The one area that disappoints me is your unwillingness to indicate if the current stock price is good or bad. A great company may not currently make a great stock pick.

Could you not apply ypur "grading" method to the stock price?

As an example, CNR could be rated as an "A" company but have a "D" rated stock price. This would indicate that the stock price is ahead of the value in a very good company.

Further to Robbie's question about ETF's in place of mutual funds: you offered some suggestions but I am unclear as to whether they are meant to be either/or choices or "all of the above" in order to achieve balance/diversification. Could you elaborate?

Q: I have been a member for over a year now, and appreciate all the services you provide. I am down 14% on HCP (a 5% position in my RSP) in 6 months, and am losing patience. Would you suggest that I continue to hold it, or would selling it and buying DR make sense?

Q: Good Afternoon Peter and Team,
Your recommendations are really spot on with Stantec shooting out the lights today. My question is about Stantec's poor cousin Genivar (GNV-T). If you were to cover this company then what back of the napkin rating would you give it ??? Also do you think that GNV will benefit from the "Stantec halo effect" ???

Q: Hi Peter, I am wondering how you'd suggest investing $5500 in a new TFSA for my daughter who just turned 18. Have a online account set up. She won't need the money for 4+ years while she complete her post-secondary. Was thinking about HCG but am concerned if the housing market turns this may be too risky. Maybe VDY or CDZ?

Q: Hello Peter.
I am always looking for a home for my cash when not fully invested. Money markets provide a skinny but safe return.
I have noticed a couple of senior loan ETFs ie blk and fsl.
My understanding is in a world of increasing interest rates the holdings in these ETF will have their yields also increase (floating) thus the best of 2 worlds. Knowing there is no Santa Clause what am I missing
