Q: DHX is down this morning on news of a couple of resignations from the Board.... in particular two of the individuals involved in the recent equity sale. I purchased this stock for my wife's TFSA partly on your recommendation. Any reason to worry?

Q: Looking to take advantage of the improving US economy by adding to my Industrials which includes a 5% position in CNR (Canadian National Railway) and a 2.5% position in MG (Magna, if its considered an industrial). Would you add a .05% position to my CNR or a new 2% position in CP (Canadian Pacific) or a new 2% to 2.5% position in ALC (Algoma)?

CNR is cheaper than CP but I already have a full position in CNR. Algoma is cheaper than both CNR and CP but no one covers ALC so its difficult to forecast future earnings for comparison purposes.

Your insights and opinions are always appreciated.

Q: Hi Peter and 5i Team,I know that you like companies that start a dividend policy. AXX (Axia Net Media) is starting a dividend at the end of January. Can you please give me your additional comments wrt AXX

Q: Axia was expected to initiate a special dividend due to the excess cash on the balance sheet associated with the sale of some non-core assets, instead the company has initiated a "small" quarterly dividend and they have renewed their share buy back in December. You've previously said you view the initiation of a dividend as very positive. I believe they are trying to signal their long term intentions to the market and based on their cash position and their projected income levels they have ample room to grow the dividend over time. What are you thoughts about this move by Axia? Do you think this is the right move as opposed to initiating a special dividend? Are they being too conservative with returning capital?

Thanks,
Rob

Q: Happy New Year to all at 5I. I have been watching DHX for a good buying opportunity (it is down 3.6% today). Would this be it, or is it a reason to wait and see what may be behind the drop?

Q: Peter and Team,

I'd like to wish you all a happy new year, first off. Second, I have owned Tourmaline for a while and had been writing covered calls on the name. I went a number of months without getting called away but finally did in December. It was almost a 5% weighting for me. I also currently own PPY (currently 3.0% of the portfolio) and PEY (Currently 3.7% of the portfolio) in the Natural Gas Sector.

My question is, with the proceeds from TOU should I be trying to get back into TOU? Are there better or other names that I should look at in the sector? Should I put the cash made into one of the names I already have?

Thanks for your thoughts!
