Q: Hi, I just recently joined this website, and I am enjoying all the great information. I have a lot of Reits and recently took a position in Timbercreek TMC on Toronto for my TFSA. A lot of the TV experts seem to think that the average retail investor should be scared of this one. Did I make a mistake?

Q: What do you think of the recent DI.UN announcement regarding its final base shelf prospectus where they may issue units or debt at any time over the next 25 months? Is this standard for REITs?

Q: Hi Peter & co.

Any thoughts on Amica (ACC). I noticed that the Globe has it as one of the top 20 stocks in terms of insider buying. Would you consider this a good entry point?

Thanks

Q: BPO
peter, thanks for the good advice. Iam looking for my tfsa. Looking at your previous comments on bpo, are some of the concerns re-NewYork market leasing out of the way. It seems all other REITS having gone up so much, would this be the one to get.
Thanks

Q: Hey,guys.

Any thoughs on the mrg.un deal this afternoon? Looks like the amount paid for the new assets are more than twice the market cap of mrg.un! Is an equity offering almost a sure thing here. Thanks for your thoughts.

Q: Hello, Great site. MRD has announced that they intend to start up a REIT and sell many of their producing assets to that REIT. I would like your opinion on what impact that might have on my shares in MRD.

Q: Hi Peter and team

Happy new year and congratulations on a great year. My question concerns Healthlease Properties (HLP.UN). On December 28th they put out an extensive list of investor questions and answers. What did you think of that and what is your current opinion on the company. Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter
We have about 20% of our RRSP portfolio in REITs with small positions in several different companies including CSH.UN, FCR, and HR.UN which you recommend.
We would like to consolidate our holdings into 6 larger positions.
Should we add to CSH.UN, FCR, and HR.UN? Which other REITs would you recommend?
Is 20% in REITs appropriate?
Thanks
Heather

Q: Hi,

What are your thoughts on Innvest (INN.UN).
It seems to have been beaten down recently, perhaps because CEO left and maybe some tax loss selling. Dividend is over 10% now and seems to be sustainable.

Q: Hi Peter and team. I have been thinking about your advices that increasing interest rate will have a negative influence on REITS. I also hold A&W, Boston Pizza and Enercare (aw.un. bpf.un and eci) for income. Would these also suffer if rates were to rise? Thanks John

Q: Hi, guys. Do you think a move out of di.un (been holding since $10.10) and into ala reduces the risk of my portfolio while keeping the same growth potential? I have been overweight the reit sector, including d.un, for the past few years and am looking to build my positions in the pipelines (I have been holding ppl, ipl.un for the past few years and have added enb more recently). I intend to hold most of my reit positions because I like the yield but also want more exposure to the pipelines because of their growth. What do you think?
