Q: HI,

Any thoughts on Pure Multi Family REIT RUF.u? A CDN listed US apartment with a 7% plus dividend in USD seems pretty attractive not to mention lower real estate values in the USA?? Missing something?

Q: The dog in the portfolios I manage is RLC--Regal Lifestyle Communities. I bought it on the basis of a nice yield and any slight down could be weathered easily while collecting the divi.--supposed to be a boring but safe play. It is going down far further than I thought--any reasons? Does my original plan still hold?

Q: Any thoughts on Retrocom's (rmm.un) news this afternoon? Seems like a pretty busy deal with the equity offering, the debentures, the private placement to First Capital Realty (fcr) and the bridge loan from TD. For me red flags go up when I read "bridge loan". What do you think?

Q: Hi 5i I'm looking at rounding out part of my portfolio with REIT's. Currently own HR.UN and looking at adding AAR.UN , D.UN
DI.UN . All together they will comprise 12.5% of my portfolio.

Any comments on INTER RENT REAL ESTATE (IIP.UN:TSX)? The fundamentals of the REIT show that the business is sound. Does the current price present a good entry point for long term holding (at least 2 years or longer)?

Q: REF.UN I have held this stock in my rrsp for several years now, so long that I forget why I thought it was such a good buy at the time. The stock has paid me handsomely and I am thinking of adding to my position but it already represents 8% of my rrsp portfolio. What is your opinion? I am most concerned about long term dividend safety as I am retired and need my rrsp to generate income for me. In light of the fact that its 8% of my portfolio maybe diversification would be a better idea? Thanks for your input.
