Q: I'm sorry . I meant to ask on LIF as opposed to LAB
it has a low P?E, High dividend yield and a high payout ratio of over 100%
Just wanted to gather your thoughts as to the sustainability of the dividend and the growth potential given the high payout ratio
Q: Hello 5i
I took up a small partial position in Atex with the news AEM bought a stake….at the AEM deal price
I did not buy huge due to dilution reminder in AEM deal……they have anti dilution rights.
Seeing the price jump obviously make me wish I had bought more.
What to do now?
I was going to buy more over time but did not expect the price jump.
Does one just add at this point or should a pull back be expected after recent move. Tough call but what’s your experience with wippy mining stocks say to you.
The deposit is real and heavy weights are in. That does not always mean timing is good for buy at $1.90/share.
Thoughts on adding here or a plan with this type of position?
Q: The new management team at I 80 gold led by Richard Young has made a few small moves to recapitalize the company. The gold deliveries that were due have been moved forward and they did a small capital raise at 80 cents per share. What is your opinion of the actions that Young and his team have made to date? Are they just buying time or are they slowly getting I 80 on firmer financial footing?
Q: Hi Peter…A couple of days ago FWZ announced that Adam Lundin would take on the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors. Do you think the Lundin group is signalling an intent to take complete control of Fireweed in the near future? Would you be a buyer if you were willing to accept the risks? I’m assuming at some time in the future Lundin will buy out FWZ’s minority shareholders by issuing shares in Lundin. Any comments you have would be appreciated.
Looks like your prediction of a 10 bagger is coming closer! (…but still pretty far off!)

Q: Hi 5i Team,
I want to add some exposure to the gold sector to my portfolio. What would you suggest given the current market? Gold bullion ETF (CGL), Equity ETF (XGD or ZGD) or invest directly in a Gold producer like AEM ? And what % would you suggest for a mid-40 investor?
Thanks
Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
Neo is up almost 7% today while most of the market is flat. Please give me your thoughts...what do you think? Thanks as always!
Q: I offer another point of view on getting rid of your losers staring you in the face every day. I generally agree with that thought but I have purposely kept one loser on the books , TREVALI,
( no capital loss advantage to be used ) , as a reminder not to be swept up in the exuberance of the moment ( zinc was going to go through the roof ) , to do more and detailed research , to listen to your head not your heart ( they were supported by Glencore , what could go wrong) , research ,research, research. Q: My question is on Cerrado Gold, a Canadian company that was a spin-off from a piece of junk I bought a long time ago. Its symbol on the venture exchange is CERT but it is not in your database. I was planning on selling it to clean up my portfolio but after some initial due diligence, it seems like it might be worth keeping. I find its balance sheet confusing in regards to its debt level so I want your thoughts before I do anything. Its a very small position so not a factor in my portfolio.
Q: I need to consolidate some of the riskier stocks in my portfolio. Of the following on my chopping block, could you rate which would be keepers for the long term (with a hands-on approach) - best to worst - KSI, GLXY, AVGO, AXON, IESC, ROAD, COIN, APP, CRWD? Also, I hold both GSY and PRL. Is it reasonable to let one go in a consolidation? If so, which one - thanks!
