Q: Would you consider Fattouche's insider selling a negative or would you not read too much into it?
Q: Hi Peter & Team,
Can you explain what this means. I have HNL stocks that I have held for a few years?
There is a $50MM equity offering for Horizon North Logistics this morning priced at $3.75/sh. Proceeds to reduce indebtedness leading into an increased capital expenditure program of $30MM that the company announced today. Based on the price of the offering, this represents a 9% dividend yield.
Thank you for your great service.

Q: 35% of mortgage loans in Alberta and all in Sask. are non-recourse where you can walk away from the mortgage if you're under water. I see HCG has a Home Trust office in Alberta; would you know how much of this type of lending HCG does in these 2 provinces or is this info even available? Can one know which are the biggest lenders in these areas - the big 5 banks, perhaps? We do know the Bank of Canada is concerned about some housing prices being up to 30% overvalued and FP did a piece on this recently:

Q: Any new research on FirstService (FSV-T) commenting on Colliers Int'l spin off??
Q: I just noticed that Enghouse is to be included in the TSX Composite Index and the Dividend index. (I think those are the correct terms)
First, what exactly are these indexes? Does getting listed on these say anything about the company itself? What are the criteria for getting put there?
I know that this can result in an increase in buying/selling as various indexes and funds buy the stock to fulfil mandates. What I don't know is how valuable or important it is to the company and/or investors. Does it speak to financial strength, ability to get loans or raise capital or is it just the result of a mathematical calculation?
Thanks for the insight.

Q: Hi there,
Any ideas as to what Goldcorp may be doing with all the raised as of late, and the money raised with the sale of Tahoe? Just paying down debt? Are there any companies on their radar? If so, which ones would be logical fits with their plans in your experience?
Thanks,
Arturo

Q: These stocks have been falling lately, HCG in particular. What is your current recommendations on them. Is there a chance of recovery for HCG or should I cut my loss and get out. Thank you.
Q: DSG has been strong recently in spite of a weaker market overall, any explanation?
Q: Hi 5i,
I have received this "Daily Bull & Bear Report June 15, 2015" from TD Direct Trading.
"Cipher Pharmaceuticals Inc CPH (TSX)
Head and Shoulders Top -
Trading closed at $10.92 to confirm a Long-Term Bearish Head and Shoulders Top pattern
Tells Me: The price seems to have reached the end of a period of "distribution" at the top of a major uptrend; the break down through support signals a reversal... more details
Bearish Event - 83% move possible"
Their target price range is "$1.00 - $2.75"
Is this bleak forecast realistic?, should we have "fire sale"
Thanks,
Morris

Q: Hi 5i: With respect to the question asked by Dennis about AVO buybacks: I recall reading quite recently a statement by AVO to the effect that the AVO board figured that their shares were undervalued, and that they therefore planned to support their shareholders by doing a series of buybacks. In other words, they have been up-front about their motivations.
Q: Hello team,
This is probably not the right way to ask but which one do you think is more likely to happen first:
- CXI getting its banking license
- EFN getting a deal from GE
What growth should one expects from each. Thanks a lot for shedding more light on each scenario.
