Q: A general question.
I have several REITs and love the monthly dividends but several are under water such as CUF.UN, D.UN, HR.UN, AX.UN

Will the tide ever rise again on REITs in general?
Should I just sit back wait it out and enjoy the monthly divs?

Q: Hello Peter,
I recently added a half position of Boston Pizza to my 20 stock portfolio. Although I’m in for the long term BPF.UN has dropped by 9% since.
Has something changed it this company that I should re-evaluate and sell or is this market related? Thanks for your great service. Ronald

Q: Peter; This is not a real question , just a comment. I see Goldman Sachs raised Priceline to a " conviction buy" from just a " buy". I guess this means if the CEO is not convicted it's a better buy. Rod

Q: Hi Team, I asked a question yesterday on LRE (Long Run Exploration) and my takeaway from your answer was that many companies that moved into a slow growth dividend model were not doing well. I agree with that assessment with regard to SGY, TOG etc.I would like to have your recommendation's in this space? Thank you.

Q: I just purchased the new Canadian Tire REIT - CRT.UN - which declared its monthly distribution for December at an annualized payout rate of 8.26% Wow! I realize the sector won't provide much capital appreciation but this particular REIT seems extremely stable given its long-term leases from Canadian Tire owners. As an income investor, can I rely on this payout as sustainable over the long haul?

Q: To Ivan's question on brokerages (19-Nov). I personally have been using BMO Investorline, with no issues and great investor information at $9.95 a trade with $50K minimum account. They allow you to group accounts to get to the $50K which was nice when I was short with my TFSA. - Cheers.
