Q: Hi Peter.
Things are going well for this company so far, except for the technical difficulties experienced on their last well. Would you say that the market reaction has been overdone on the sell side and would one add to one's position at this point. Seems to be speculation that CNE could be taken over by Pacific Rubiales in 2014. What are your thoughts on this and where do you see the stock price a year from now. Thank you and have a good day.

Q: Any thoughts as to why DCI ( Direct Cash ) has been dropping lately......looked at the releases and aside from A$ weakness can't see anything too untoward....

Q: I hold ZRE in my non-registered account and it has taken a hit recently which I am ok with as I primarily purchased it for its healthy yield (5% plus). With an improving economy I would have expected some increase in the monthly payout and that has not happened. Would you expect the REIT industry will be increasing payouts in the near future or should I sell now to avoid further price deterioration as interest rates slowly increase. I already hold lots of interest rate sensitive stocks by way of utilities and pipelines. I note that you recommend H&R which has increased it's payout. Would this be a good switch.

Q: Hi Peter;
I bought Paladin PDN at $0.99 and it is now down 50%.
Is it a "hold" or a "sell" ?
If I sell, would a switch to Telus be a good play? It has a 4% dividend and BMO has upgraded Telus to outperform and upped the target price to $38.00.
I would also like your thoughts on Cineplex CGX.
Between Telus and Cineplex which one would you recommend?

Q: Whats your recommendation on Cipher Pharma and Automodular?

As well i keep hearing advice to sell now before a major correction in Sep; however, indicators seem to suggest now my be the time to add. Any advice on this?

Q: Ref: Doug's question on discount brokers: I believe there are articles available online showing rankings and recommendations for various discount brokerages. It takes some homework to decide which one might suit your specific needs. Rob Carrick at GlobeInvest also reports on surveys of online brokers.
