Q: Do you think the weakness in MacDonald Dettwiler (MDA) recently could have anything to do with the US Homeland Security funding uncertainty?
I have here 2015 eps estimates at $6.36 giving MDA a p/e of just over 15, which looks pretty attractive to me considering eps growth is supposed to be well over 10% a year for the next few years, at least.

Q: I've been re-balancing my portfolio over the past 2 months, thank-you for all your guidance.
I need one more stock and then I can sit back and watch my portfolio's performance over 2015. But, I'm stuck on finding that last one stock.
I need a U.S. Industrial stock with a divdend, I'm looking for Income with a 2-3 year timeframe.
I know you don't specialize in the U.S. market and understand if you are unable to answer my question. In that case maybe a member here on this board could throw out a couple of names that I could research on my own.
Thank-you for all your help. And, thank-you to the other members here, your questions and 5i's answers has greatly increased my investing knowledge, I hope my questions have in turn assisted you.

Q: Hello Peter & Co,
I am 72 years old and hold a RRIF portfolio; I consider that my Cash/TFSA positions are not material for this exercise. I'm also a recipient of CPP & OAS. The PV present value of that stream of income invested at the same rate as the indexation rate for the next 20 years is roughly $360,000, which is nothing to sneeze at. I would feel comfortable with a 50/50 Equity/Fixed Income allocation for an acceptable way of preserving my capital. Do I consider the PV amount of CPP/OAS as a "fixed income" component of my overall portfolio? or would it just be considered fictitious, thus separate from my RRIF. The math would be quite different in each case; or should I go with my own "comfort zone"?
Your opinion is most valuable; I also welcome the opinions of my fellow members.
Thanks,
Antoine

Q: This company in the media business trades at 7.6 PE and has grown its earnings over the last 3 years . What is your recommendation for this stock. I have no exposure to this part of the market. Wells Fargo has an outperform on the stock.
Q: Can i get your thoughts of the company? Thanks
Q: Good Day
I have been following these assorted leveraged eft's and have considered buying on a dip and holding as a long term strategy.
Would that make sense or should you perhaps buy and sell using the 40 day MA.
Thank you
Randy

Q: I've owned this stock in a LIRA account for a few years and it's done reasonably well but seems to have leveled out over the past year or so. Any thoughts on further growth or should I dump it into something like VUG, Vanguard Growth, or?
Q: A couple of recent BNN guests have brought the Swiss global giant consumer staples company to my attention. Their case seems to be a relative valuation one vs. Global peers Unilever and P&G. This, along with the fact my portfolio is too Canada-centric holding nothing comparable, has got me thinking this might be a good, long-term, defensive addition to my portfolio. Any thoughts you might add re.this company would be appreciated. Thank you.
Q: Hi Team
Could you give me your assessment of CUS. Is there any hope of a recovery in the next year? I am down over 60% and am thinking it is time to move on. Yield?
Thanks for the great service.
