Q: The Telus earnings release includes a statement that they raised the Q dividend 7.1% to .4925 (from .48). Looks to me like a 2.6% increase. Am I missing something here? Perhaps the 7.1% (incorrectly) includes a 2nd increase that they may make later this year (as they did in 2016)?? Thanks

Q: A curiosity: Canadian Tire beat all analysts estimates in sales, revenue( +7.6% and beat estimates) profits( up 26%), etc.... rep0rted this AM.... yet stock is down considerably....
how would you interpret this for going forward?
How do you see this company in short and long term?

Q: It appears the $1.65/share takeover by Norgine is set for Sept 30, 2017. Between now an then do you see any other upside above $1.65? I read at Pharmpro.com, 'The Arrangement Agreement includes a non-solicitation covenant on the part of Merus, subject to customary "fiduciary out" provisions that entitle Merus to consider and accept unsolicited superior proposals and a right in favour of Norgine to match any superior proposal....'
