Q: I own CXS since 2 years in my TFSA and am down over 35%. Should I continue to be patient? I am tempted to use the cash to buy either PHM or GXI. Thanks for the excellent and invaluable service.

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan & Co.,
I came across this in a Rob Carrick column; you, and many of your members, might already have seen it but I enjoyed and thought that it might put a smile on a few faces for those who haven't yet seen it.

Q: What do you think of the ETF XIT? I dislike how it has a small market cap, holds pretty much only 4 companies, and has a high MER (0.6%) but I really like buying the tech sector on dips caused by broad-market scares. It is free to buy (and sell) in an iTrade account. Holdings: 23% CGI, 23% OpenText, 16% Constellation, 8% DH. And unfortunaly, 16% BlackBerry. Any thoughts about this ETF?
Q: I was considering take a position in IBG. Could you please comment on the latest quarter and would it be a buy at this point.
Q: Hi Peter, hope that you are recovering well for your trip. At this time, would purchase of 10% positions each of Black Diamond and Stella Jones for an RESP be ok ? Other holdings are 25% BNS and 25% Telus. Balance is cash. Buy now or wait ? Thank you, Paul
Q: Is there a reason that comments are disabled on the Avigilon blog article? Of concern to me, an AVO owner now in my late sixties, is that Mr. Fernandes, who appears to be in his early forties is thinking very long term with this company if earnings are of secondary importance to product development even going out years. How long will I have to wait for payoff in my underwater investment?
Technically I see that if the stock breaks support at $17.50 next major support is $12.50 established 2012-13 on much lower volume. Perhaps it would be better to cut and run here then wait for a bottom to re-enter. Would you agree? Thanks, J.

Q: Hello 5i,
My current portfolio consists of:
BX:US, COP:US, PXT, HWO, TLA, SYZ, VCM, PHM, DND, XTC, and RDX.
I like to keep a fairly concentrated portfolio and generally stick to smaller cap stocks. Assuming I am fairly equal weight between all of the above names, which would you (if any) recommend adding too today? And is there another small cap name that you think may fit nicely in this list to provide good growth/value and maybe a little diversification at the same time?
Thanks!
