Q: Hi Team,

I have a nice capital gain embedded for year end and am willing to roll the dice a little at this point.

I would appreciate your insight as to what junior oil and gas names you would recommend as a speculative buy that may be subject to a takeover in the next 6-12 months. I'm thinking of CR, RRX, or RTK. Thoughts?

Q: Premium Brand Holdings (PBH-T) released earnings this morning, and I am interested in your thoughts. My read is nothing surprising, but holding its position and still positioning for the future. I would not buy more, but rather should hold what I've got if it suits my portfolio. Am I reading it right? - Cheers.

Great call on PLB !!! Just wish I had a truckload of it rather than a few hundred shares. I will patiently await your updated recommendation.
My question is with regard to gold in constant backwardation i.e. the Gold Spot price stubbornly stays above the Comex Futures Price by a small amount. My understanding is that this is quite unusual. Of couse John Embry and Eric Sprott believe that this indicates that the price of gold will soon rise to infinity and beyond.
What is your take of this rather peculiar situation ???

Q: Do you think (BDI) Black Diamond's results were OK? And do you consider Badger (BAD) and Macro (MCR) to be classified in the same sector? Could BDI's results tell us anything about Macro's earnings going forward. Can't decide if these are oil service sector companies or not. Thank you. Very grateful member.
