Q: I have been reviewing the data on Noranda Income Fund (NIF.UN). The yield and stability seem fine to me. Would you please share your analysis?

Q: Hi team, I have about 3.5% of our portfolio in CHB US high yield income fund and I am up a fair amount from my initial cost and have enjoyed over a years worth of interest income (inside an RRSP). I know there is a risks to this ETF if US interest rates rise, but that just doesn't seem likely for a while yet. I don't think I am overexposed in this area, what are your thoughts? Thanks, no rush on your answer if you are short staffed.

Q: Hi team, I have held Just Energy JE for the share price ride up and then back down again and have been dripping my dividends monthly. But now I am beginning to wonder if I should cancel my drip which is getting fairly large and just bank the dividends. Most TV experts seem to hate this company. However JE seem to keep growing their customer base both here and in the US. Your thoughts would be appreciated. No hurry for answer if you are short staffed. Thanks.

Q: Hi Peter and 5i: B2 Gold (BTO) and a tiny exploration partner, Calibre (CXB), issued a release today confirming that BTO had completed the expenditure required for a 51% earn-in on their joint exploration property in Nicaragua, set a $2m budget for further drilling etc in 2013, and disclosed some recent drill results on the property. The result was that CXB tanked by 40%. Can you explain the market reaction on this one? Thanks!

Q: I was re-reading an article in the Canadian Money Saver by Wynn Quon. His analysis of a potential super bubble is certainly a scary prospect. I remember the 400 point losses on the TSE quite painfully.
What are your thoughts on this speculation? Have the problems that caused the turmoil on 2008 gone? Thanks

Q: I appreciate the chance to ask questions .
I am getting worried about the lofty P/E ratios of the pipes, if you look at ppl,vsn,ipl,gei,enb, etc they are all trading above 20 x earnings. Google levels!
I understand the need for yield but I am worried that one morning everyone at the same time will see something wrong with this,
Am I missing something ?

Q: Could I have your thoughts on ShawCor -SCL.A- subsequent to the failure to sell the company and the current proposal to eliminate its dual class shares by buying out the shares of controlling shareholder, Virginia Shaw, for $43.43 in cash and stock. Would you consider it buyable at the current $40.00 level? Any caveats? Thank-you for your response.
