Q: Thanks for the update today on Great Canadian (GC). I am looking for some exposure to the gaming industry. This may be comparing apples to oranges, but of the three companies that you follow(GC, GH, AYA), which would you consider the best investment given that only one of the three pays a dividend. Or perhaps a small bet on each of the three.

First of all, I like to wish happy holidays to all of you. Hopefully we do not bother you with any questions during this period:)
Second, I like to get your take on TRZ.B. The earnings were pretty good and they have tons of cash but the stock is under pressure. One reason I can think is the weakening of Canadian dollar and the second could be that the investors were expecting some sort of special or regular dividend from them. Do you think of any other reason and do you like the company at this level.

Q: what would be the best way to invest in crude by rail? i have a small position in sj (rail ties )which i will increase . also looking at cn . do you know of any canadian co's that make crude rail cars or the train rails that would be a reasonable investment?

Q: Peter and staff, My question is on Cominar. It cotinues to be not well liked by the market. Many of the other reits have stopped going down or are recovering somewhat. I thought that Cominar was a very good stable reit. I must be missiing something. Can you please tell me what it is? Is there something different about Cominar from the other high quality reits? Q: Thanks to your reviews I bought XTC Exco a while back and have done very well with it. Its recent announcement has given a nice bounce to the stock today and I wonder if its getting ahead of itself.
Its now 6% of my portfolio and its been my policy to start to trim back although with this one I'm considering letting it run up and trim back at 8%. My time horizon is 5 years plus.
Would appreciate your thoughts and do you see any change in your current rating.
