Q: CMI keeps hitting new highs....$2.30 this morning....have asked about it before but do you have anything new to pass on?
Q: I hope this is not as dumb as it may appear....There are many very good companies and ETF's that are illiquid, some trade by appointment only. Is the biggest factor in this the fact that the shareholders are unwiiling to part with stocks due to their perceived quality of the company/ETF?
Q: Not sure if this is within your purview but I am looking to diversify into Intn'l and Emerging markets. I need an ETF or two with a dividend yield of 3% plus. Currently have UXM for my US exposure and am thinking of VEE for Emerging but not sure about one for Intn'l. Another option would be CYH to cover all 3 areas. Any ideas

I recently purchased some shares in Twin Butte Energy (TBE) at $2.10/share. It was halted this afternoon and then announced that they are purchasing a small private company and issuing subscription receipts at $1.95. I assume the shares will fall to that level or lower in the coming days - is this the likely result with a subscription receipt offering? Would you suggest i average down or take the loss? I noticed it goes ex div at month end and was thinking that the 9% dividend would be nice!

Do you know why all the shorts are piling on Bell Alliant BA.T, would this be a reason to not buy the stock, as it is nearing it,s 52 week low, the dividend and an easy capitol gain when the shorts come off,make it look enticing. Many thanks as usual.

A couple stocks that are hurting me are EXN and GFS. Both have high insider buying I know you are not high on GFS but there are no comments on EXN which kind of surprises me. . What do you think of the stock?

Q: ZXA is a targeted corporate bond maturity ETF which on the surface sounds like a good idea right now instead of an open-ended bond ETF. It shows a recent yield of 4.9% but I am wondering if that is sustainable and also what you think of this ETF as a way to invest in bonds going into a possible rising interest environment.
