Q: Hi Peter, I'm interested in preferreds and wonder about the rate reset feature. Recently AGN issued 6 year rate reset preferred @4.5%. The reset in 6 years is equal to the 5 year Canada yield plus 2.94%. Do you think that yield potential will be sufficient to keep the preferred trading at about par in the interim?

Q: Just a comment as well on your suggestion with respect to Wi-Lan. I, too, succumbed to your choice in the contest, and am unhappy with the stock coming down. I'm prepared to check further your instinct and wait a while.Yet,is it realistic to expect their portfolio of patents to do the trick within 3 months of the contest selection ?

Q: What do you think of the total return prospects for Morguard Corp (MRC) versus Morguard REIT(MRT.UN)? (MRC has much smaller div, but seems to be the cheaper of the 2.)
Both look very cheap in terms of p/e, p/cf, p/b; leverage seems ok; am I missing something? Thanks

Q: no question here but just a comment, wilan is turning into the dog it was before i bought it, i knew it going in but succumbed to your and imhofs both having it in the contest, i am a seasoned investor and should know better, their ceo is a bad guy who wastes the companies money 10 million on that mosaid attempted takeover.and peter you should know better.their earnings will probably not be good and they will make excuses ,i had bought 15000 but sold it today.dave
