Investment Q&A

Q: A portion of the fun part of my portfolio has been directed towards speculative mining stocks. I have employed a basket approach which involves taking relatively small initial positions. Some have worked out, but as a result I am left with a number of stocks that are insignificant in value. I would like to clear these out and consolidate the proceeds. Do you have one or two small cap names to suggest that show promise. Thank you.

Q: Am interested in buying another gold stock. I already own KL and have done well on your recommendation. I am interested in WDO. I would like your thoughts on this company. Or do you have another you feel is a better choice?

Q: Wesdome announced a restructuring today, "effective immediately". Could I have your reaction to to this and the large trade volume coinciding with the release. More of a buy or more of a sell with the news?

Q: Westdome gold recent events - released production #'s for Q 3, a new CEO, a very positive news release on Aug 24th. What do you make of these events, including price pull back. Also your take on CEO's comments in today's release. Thanks

Q: Could you comment on Q2 results, year over year oz produced and specifically on the CEO's optimism for future gold production. Share price seems to have stalled and I note a wee bit of insider selling? Are metrics cheap at this level. Thanks

along with price of gold, is the management OK ? And BOS, substantial decline of the price today indicate investors are not happy with the company I almost feel like dumping 2000 shares we hold in our cash account. Thank you for your advice. Motoi

Q: I was wondering if you could comment on the results of Wesdome's recent AGM, and on its performance today.
