Q: Hi Guys

I have been interested in Brookfield (parent company) and Onex. They have returned 20% and 16% respectively annualized over 20 years (from what I read recently elsewhere)

What are thiughts going forward and would 5I consider issuing reports on these companies?

`A TFSA just opened
`$21000 maximum allowed and therefore available

1/would you park the money in a high savings account let us say till the fall/early winter and therefore wait for better market500 opportunities.

2/In case you can find solid opportunities now what would you suggest in pure stocks allocation percentage (for example 4 stocks, 8 stocks.. 1 stock?)

3/ Within this split what would you suggest as specific target companies.

Q: In a recent Globe article dealing with ''when'' to consider selling a stock,''when the stock rises above it's intrinsic value''was mentionned. How does one determine when a stock has risen above it's intrinsic value?

Q: DRT closed at $7.70 yesterday, but the bid/ask is 7.07 this morning. I haven't found any news (but that doesn't mean there isn't any!). What's happening?

Q: It's extremely difficult to get candid perspectives on Ultrashort ETFs. Structural issues aside, what is your view on the impact of "Seeking Alpha's" report that 30% of TBT's market cap had left as of June 5? Personally, I can't understand why they'd leave now that rates seem to be finally heading up....

Q: I've held TRP as a major position in my portfolio for years and it has increased only 3.5%. I always hope the XL pipeline will be approved, or the pipeline to the east coast, but I'm getting tired of waiting. Should I keep hoping or sell now and spread the $30 Gs around to better things? I also own PPL and IPL. What is your opinion on ENB? It always seems to me that the PE ratio is too frothy.

Q: There seems to be a consensus that rising interest rates will benefit US banks. Does this favour the big investment banks over other commercial banks? If so, XLF might be the way to go as it is heavily weighted by the big banks. If not, what would be a good alternative US bank ETF?
