Q: Hi,
I first have to say that I own this company stock. I also consider it the most creative and the most exciting industrial company today since my inroads with Kelso.. It also trade at very low price for it's future potential in my opinion
I think everybody should have a look at this company. They have released today a General business update that is worth at least reading.
I do not want to be perceived as a stock pusher, so as usual it is absolutely up to you to release.
It IS a microcap of course also!

Wondering if you have any thoughts on Imperus technologies? I have some warrants from two years ago that expire this November and wondering if it's a good move to exercise. Appears that the price has dropped significantly.
Q: Peter, I have three holdings NII, SCR & PHM with rather grumpy performance. Should I continue to hold any of them? And, do you have better replacements to recommend?
With thanks, Colin
Q: Could I get your opinion on Ned Goodman rejoining the board of EXN. Plus the dewatering plan they are working on, do they have access to the 10 million needed for the dewatering plan. Do they have enough cash to keep going till the dewatering turns them around.
Q: I enjoyed your Small Cap essay. I had to get to pg4 to know which small cap indices you were using. Pg4 & beyond said MSCI, but which MSCI?
Why would you compare a Financial & resource heavy Tsx to ,say, IWO or any MSCI small cap.
You have been a long term IWO advocate. Is there a C$ ETF that would provide access to IWO stocks as VUS/VUN do For access VTI?
Also can you suggest ETFs in any currency that follow MSCI Indices?
I ask few questions, but follow with interest your daily stream. Thanks for what you do
Ernie
Q: Good morning,
I just a few questions about how a company discloses drill results. Assuming they visually see something in the cores before they are sent to the lab, does the company have to disclose what they "think" they saw? This company sent in 173 samples for testing out of 1515 meters drilled. How big would a typical sample be? Last but not least, can a company disclose material news while they are trying to close a financing?
Appreciate your thoughts
Seamus
I'm looking at this as a turnaround play. Stock has been absolutely hammered; but there appears tremendous upside and value here. They were on the brink of bankruptcy due to leverage, and have since recapitalized. They have a cash flow positive assets in Nicaragua as well... Is this a value trap? or a bet worth taking for a patient investor with guts?
Not to encourage groupthink but I've searched the company profile on Morningstar.ca and discovered that this company is a top position in a mutual fund called Pender Small Cap Opportunities.
I'd appreciate your thoughts on this. I understand that these kind of bets can be volatile.
P.S: I own most of your growth portfolio and am comfortable within the small cap realm of investing, with a time frame over 20 years. Great work on the small cap special report. Keep it up.
Q: Orbite has recently redeemed all its 2012 debentures. Forgetting Orbite past history, Can redeeming debentures ahead of time be considered a good sign ?
Q: Good Afternoon,
I read your recent report on TNC, the company sounds interesting but I'm not sure I really understand what it is they do? Don't most of us use online banking. I can access my online banking via home, the office or my cell phone to make my bill payments to the phone company, utilities etc.. I'm not sure why I would access one of their kiosks in a retail location to pay my utility bill? I must be missing something here?
Thank-you

Q: Peter and Staff
For a long term small $ hold, would you please rank them 1,2 and 3 with logic........and also if they each are BUY,HOLD or sell.
Thanks for all you do
Q: Reko just released 4th quarter and year-end results that were the 3rd best in the company history. The Reko family controls 2/3 of the shares outstanding. What do see in the future for this company and is it an interesting micro cap investment?
Chuck
Q: I agree that it is a great business but I would appreciate more details on the valuation metrics you look at to evaluate the company. You mention that it is cheap but I see it at 24 times LTM earnings of 6.57 per share. I find that to be on the high end of it's historical range. Maybe I am missing something here ? Is there a better metric to look at ? Thank you!!
